Update for 7/25/06-

Yesterday i played nothing but MTT's...8 of em. Heres how i did-

$100 rebuy- yea i know, stupid..whatever. I immediately took the rebuy then played it like a regular freezeout. About 40 minutes in i had my stack at about 8000. Then at the very end of the rebuy period i lost half my stack on a coin flip...knew it was a race, took the chance, didnt win it...meh. I then took the add-on and was at like 5 or 6k...an average stack. A couple minutes in, im in the BB with ATs. Its folded around to a good, aggressive player 2 off the button who raises it to 600. Blinds are 75/150. The Button AND SB call. I go ahead and push for like 4k more...expecting a race. Original raiser folds, Button raises all in, SB folds. Button shows 77..exactly what i wanted. Flop KKJ...i dont improve..'sigh'. Total spent- $309..Winnings- 0...Profit- -$309.

$20 180 person SNG- These things still have ALOT of horrible players. I hung around the first hour or so then lost KK vs 99 preflop to finish in like 60th. Total spent- $22...Winnings- 0...Profit- -$22

$150 Freezeout- WOW, you would never know this is a $162 buyin tournament. Its like the Million Guaranteed...freakin donkament. Im gonna try and play this tourney every night if i can. Oh, my results- I couldnt get any cards the whole tourney. I dont remember the hand i went out on..but it was just one of those tournies. Finished 290 out of 544..Total spent- $162...Winnings- 0...Profit- -$162

$30 6max Freezeout- Ive played this tourney 3 times and have made the money in every one. You can tell most of these players never play 6max..just awful. I dominated the whole way and ended up busting out in 11th when my A9s ran into AT...out of 383 players. Total spent- $33...Winnings- $258.52...Profit- $225.52

$10 R&A $55k Guaranteed- I didnt go all in every hand this time...but still somehow used 7 rebuys. At the end of the rebuy i actually had a stack of only 5k..an alltime low for me..by a shitload. I doubled up quickly but couldnt get it going after that. Busted in like 400th or something. Total spent- $81...Winnings- 0...Profit- -$81

Sooooooooooo...when i add everything together i end up losing $70. lol...fucking $100 rebuy.

I havent played a session of 6max in like a week..so im gonna get back in the 6max groove on Wednesday.

I played a 3 hour session today..results- +$757.25



I swear i wasnt even sucking people out or anything...i was just playing real well and people kept paying me off...over and over again. It was surreal.

Dont really have anything to say about it..just a great session.

Tomorrow i hope to put in about 5 hours...bringing my total to 8. lol

Im thinking about spending this weekend just playing cash games...instead of playing tournies like i usually do. The Million Guaranteed is $530 or whatever this week and i dont feel like putting that much money on the line at once right now. I think i might try playing some satellites though..so we'll see what happens.

Monthly Review- July 2006

I thought it would be a good idea to have a monthly review for now on. So, here it goes...

I began July playing 50NL with a bankroll of $1500 or so. I had a good start to the month and moved up to 100NL on the 7th. Since then i have been relatively successful at my new stakes with a profit of $2811. This equates to a 12.76 BB/100 through 22000+ hands. When considering only cash games, my best day profit wise was the 26th where i had a profit of $757.25 in 3 hours of work. I also had two other days where my cash game profits exceeded $500. My worst day was on the 19th where i lost $203. In total, i had 4 losing days and 14 winning ones. As u can see, i only played 18 out of 31 days...on average for 3 hours and 45 minutes...or a total of 67.5 hours.

My total cash game profit for July was $3195.45. This included 22033 hands at 100NL and 7515 hands at 50NL...for a total of 29543 hands. My total BB/100 was 6.11.

So, Total Cash Game Profit = $3195.45

SNG's-

I only played a total of 4 SNG's this month. I placed 6th in a 9-player $20+2...4th in a 9-player $10+1...2nd in a 6-player $35+3...and 1st in a 9-player $15+1.

Total SNG Profit = $54.00

MTT's-

I played a total of 36 MTT's. This included 15 satellites, one 1mil Guaranteed, 6 $10 R&A's, 2 6max Freezeouts, and various other tournies. My best finish was taking home $1200 in profit from the 1Mil Guaranteed.

My Goals for August 2006-

I begin fall semester in 3 weeks. During these next 3 weeks, I want to make enough money at 100NL to where i'll be able to withdraw about $2000..as well as being able to move up to 200NL. This means i have to make 4k during these 3 weeks...give or take a few hundred. If i sustain a 10 BB/100 winrate 6tabling 100NL, i'd have to play 67 hours to a achieve my goal of 4k in profit.

So, my goal for the next 3 weeks is to play 25-30 hours a week. Also, I WILL NOT PLAY IN ANY TOURNAMENTS OR SNG'S DURING THIS PERIOD. (except for the 1mil Guaranteed maybe). As u can see from my July stats, i pretty much wasted countless hours playing tournaments...when i should of been playing cash games. Costing me lots and lots of money.

My goal for the month of August is basically to move up to 200NL for good. As far as my bankroll is concerned, im gonna set the mark at 8k. This seems very feasible.

If I play as many hours as i should, my home should be 400NL by late September. Here i come Xaston.

Update-

My last real update looks like it was on the 27th of July. My online Bankroll at that time was over 5k....and then if u look at my monthly review u see that my BR is only like $4200. Why is this, u ask? Well, the answer is i fucked up.

In like a 2 day period i played all tourneys. A couple $162 freezeouts...and a few $10 R&A's are the notables. Well, i didnt do well in the freezeouts...and completely lost my mind in one of the rebuys. In one $10 rebuy, i spent AT LEAST $511. Yes, that would be AT LEAST 50 rebuys. I stopped counting after 45. Daniel Negraenu would be proud. I must of had like 30 60-40 situations and LOST THEM ALL. I was like wtf? and kept rebuying. I wish i wasnt so stubborn/stupid.

I never got a big stack with all my efforts either. And then when i was shortstack after the rebuy period i just said fuck it and sat out so i could go out and get wasted....fucking insanely wasted. And i did, u better believe it.

Anyway, this week ive played 3 sessions...all about 5 hours long.

The first session- -$15.75. well fuck.

The second session- +$425.60. awesome.

The third session- -$520.00. (@#*^$@#(*$&(@#*&$(*#@&#$^%!!!

In the third session i was playing completely retarded. For some reason i tried a couple idiotic bluffs and lost 2 stacks because of it. Really, really stupid. I tried another bluff like that in session 2 but got lucky and stacked someone. I really dont understand what has come over me lately...before this week i dont think i had tried ONE bluff attempt like that through this whole 6max thing. I mean, i semi-bluff alot...but these bluff attempts were with like 2-4 outs.

So, this week has been a complete waste so far. 15 hours of play, lost about 1 buyin. wow. thats horrible.

I also just took out a grand to pay for car insurance...so yea, this sucks.
