Because I don't sleep until like 7:00 AM usually. And I enjoy making $190 and I enjoy heads up limit hold em.
I checked the river because I knew he didn't have a full house (unless he made it on the river), because he would have re-raised me somewhere. Furthermore for his A and K high calldown hands (very likely) that river is a very bad card for him. If I was semi-bluffing with 68 (or a gutshot containing a 9 for that matter) or a flush draw, I just beat him. Thus, if he is thinking, he will likely be able to get away from them. As such, I decided to check and give him the option to try to represent something/value bet a flush (which will only call if I lead the river, but will call my check raise). I'm sort of a prodigy.
