The thing with Neteller cards....
I had £200 in my Neteller account. I withdrew this to my card so that I could take it out at the ATM. They charged me £2 plus a %age which put £190.60 on my card. I then went to London yesterday to the Gutshot cardroom and tried to take out £190 from an ATM. The ATM screen said it could not process the transaction and gave me my card back. I tried again only to find my £190 has disappeared. I am now fighting to get my money back into my account. It seems that when I tried to withdraw £190 the ATM couldn't handle a foriegn card and the processing fee associated with it (bringing the total to more than my balance) and screwed it up.
I am confident I will get my money back at some point, but I shall not be using Neteller again. I have been told the fee for using an ATM to withdraw £190 would cost another £8. So in total, to get my hands on £200 that I worked hard to earn will cost nearly £20 (thats nearly $40 to you guys across the pond) to see it in hard cash (if I ever do).
Be aware.
