Freaking effort. Somehow I actually put more into my game than this journal. Sa all around.
This week I've been cruising on the NL$25 FR tables at Dise, just winning, winning, winning. I'm trying raises in position alot, and CB's seems to be working better than they did last week, for whatever reason. I have been winning fairly well, about 1.5 stacks a session on average, although my sessions usually don't last longer than 3 hours, I'm pretty happy with my play in some aspects. Although, because alot of the time these Dise players will be pushing chips around with completely weak hands, I have been caught in a few hands that have hurt the bottom line overall. Sadly, I can't pot thse hands just yet because getting Dise hands in pokertracker is a MANUAL process. I should be done today and post some atrocious decisions tomorrow. But, my good decisions have clearly outweighed my bad ones this week.
Also, Friday I tried out 5-max for the first time and found it to be pretty amazing. Amazing in the fact that the players I went up against DO NOT FOLD. The guys at my table must have had VPIP's of 90+%...I was the only one sitting out of a flop most of the time...very disturbing but wonderful. Also, the guy to my left was Mr. Showdown. He would limp, I would raise, he would continue to call, and if he hit any part of that flop, that man was not going to fold. Not a chance. So, I actually started playing him like I would play a bad opponent at a limit 3/6 games which such moves as isolating with middle pair and continually raising him with draws and such to get other people out. There must have been a table showdown percentage somewhere near 90% at this table for over 3 hours! Guess I've been missing out not playing 6-max(duh, I know, I knew it already). Just haven't gotten to a comfort level there though, so I will keep practicing.
MIRC was fun last night...must have been about 20 people on overall which is pretty sweet. But the magic eightball predictions are rigged!
My nephew turned Uno earlier in the week and today is the B-day, so no play until later unless it's party, which is evil(but lucrative all the same). Then Sunday I have to go to a wedding in semiformal attire. What the hell does that mean? I dunno. Bah.
At least there will be liquor. Weddings at wineries are tite.
