Victor Chandler kicked my butt tonight. Here's a rundown of the carnage:
5 hands in, I'm dealt AA, so i raise, BB ($54), flop is 682 rainbow, he chk/calls pot bet. Turn is J, I bet 2/3 pot, and he minraises, so I just put him in for his remaining 5 bucks or so. Turns over 88. Anyone check that turn?
Other table, I raise w/ KJhh, BB calls. We have full stacks, and no read at the time. Flop is
[7c][4h], he chk/calls me. Turn is
, he bets 8 into a $23 pot, I call, river is
, he bets $15 into $39, I raise to $45, he pushes, turns over
[9h].
Same table, there is a minraise, 3 callers, including villian from above, who is now rated as a calling station on my GT+. I have AA in BB, raise to $10. CS is in SB and calls. We both have around $250. Flop is 10 2 2, he chk/calls 2/3th pot bet, turn is 8, he chk/calls 1/2 pot bet. River is 6, he bets $40 into $93 pot. I know I'm beat but i just can't help myself. I call and he flips 88. Bah.
Another table, to my left there is a guy w/ $300. Over 120 hands, he is 85/1. Yep you heard it right. i saw him cold call a preflop reraise twice, w/ Q6 and A8. He called me down several times w/ TP no kicker, 2nd pair, etc. Now, I have QQ in SB, CO raises to $3.5, I reraise to $10, villian cold calls in BB, and CO folds. flop is KKJ, I bet $18 into $24, he calls, turn is 3. I know if he has a jack, he will call me down, I'm not folding, so I bet $35 into $60, leaving me $45 behind, River is 6, I push, he calls and turns over 33. Niice.
Same table, folded to me, I raise OTB w/ J10s, calling station calls (I would not expect any less of him), flop is 1093, he chk/calls, turn is 3, he chk/calls again. River is Q, he bets $16 into $50, I call, and he flips 93o. I fault for not checking that turn. Oh well.
I did double up through the guy, when I had KK, he calls flop, turn is K, he calls, river is blank, i have nuts, he calls my all in.
