Since Im playing only Limit this week, I wont have a good NL hand of the week to post. If anyone played a tough or interesting hand this week, please submit it to me. I'll add my comments and we'll post in on the front page.

3/6 limit online

I'm dealt 10,10 in the BB.
Seat 4 raises, Seats 6 and 8 call.
Ok, I like the odds, I call.

Flop 6,A,A rainbow. Darn, missed it.
I check, everyone else checks!
I'm sure someone has an Ace. So I'm not interested in playing this hand.

Turn is a 10 !

I check, Seat 4 raises(so thats who had an ace), Seats 6 and 8 fold, I re-raise.
Seat 4 makes it 3 and I cap.

River is a 5.
I bet, Seat 4 re-raises.
Now is the point I figure I'm beat. He prob has A,10.
I call.
He shows A,6.

Should I have not put in so many raises?
Should I have folded? If so, when?

I actually wanted NL hands for the hand of the week. Im not really all that qualified to comment on limit hands at this point.

Hey striker, I too am not that qualified i've not played HE above 4/8) but I wouldnt beat yrself up about that one. Seems to me you played it fine. In fact, you could even put in another bet on the river. If the guy raised preflop, unless he's down as an utter goon (which is clearly the case) how can you put him on A6, or even AT? I'd have him on the big slick here and take my lumps if he's monkeyed it up and got lucky. I like your chances of having the best hand here and I would even have perhaps gone one more bet on the river.

If he had Q10 on that board, he would have opened ended straight draw and Q high flush draw. Actually, by the numbers you gave, he raised to 700 preflop and you raised it to 2100 with a 4500 stack. You committed almost half you chips preflop so I would say that if you wanted to raise him, you should have gone all in since you have most of them committed. Once you are in that situation, there is no problem with you going all in on that flop. However, at that point, he was calling 2400 to win 6900 (2100+2100+300 of blinds+2400 all in). So he's getting almost 3-1 on his opened ended straight and flush draw, assuming both of them was good and he put you on an overpair. I would have preferred if he semibluffed rather than calling an all in, but i don't have a big problem with his postflop play. The big problem was his preflop play. If he wanted to take a stab at the pot, that's fine but once you reraised him, he should have folded. I think you were just destined to lose that hand unless you went all in preflop but going on how he called preflop anyway, you might have been doomed.
