I can set up private tourneys and don't have a problem doing it as a one-time thing (or even once a week if it's easy), but the more time-consuming it gets the less inclined I am.

The only thing I don't like about Piers's refund idea is that it increases the effective rake to 20% rather than 10%, although I guess that's not horrible.

Hey, I just noticed on Stars that they have listed a "Special HU matches" tourney in the private tourney section where the buy-in is $.01. So, it's obviously possible to set it up for less than a buy-in of $10.

Kuso, if you'll let me know exactly how you want this thing to work, I think I can send them an email and set this up.

As I see it we could just have an ongoing open private tourney set up. We could track our own results pretty much, and the buy-in I believe everyone wanted was $5, right?

When two players then agree on a time, there would then, I would think, always be an open table.

The only thing is that if I'm supposed to play excession at some particular time, and you have set up your match with A Train at the same time, then if you've taken your seat, I have to make sure not to register until A Train has shown up and filled up your table--if you follow what I'm driving at here.

Anyhow, if you want, let me know exactly how you're going to set it up, and I'll see if I can get the Stars guys to do it (I have so many thousands of FPPs there it's scary, so they should be willing to do it).

I do think the minimum is $10. I cant choose a lower buy in. The thing ($ 0.10 ) you are talking abaout are special HU matches where you have to rebuy.

You can name it Roy v.s Tom HU. etc... So everyone can watch
