Ive never used FGT+ so I dont even know exactly what it is. (I have used the regular gametime window)

I assume I'll have to donwload an update or something since I dont see GT+ anywhere in my PT.

My question is this: With GT+, do the players stats display on the actual poker window like it looks like in this screen shot?

forum/viewtopic.php?t=2234&start=15

How is that possible?

In the GT+ settings you can modify the stats to be displayed. I highly recommend that you do not include your own stats as it tends to slow things down.

I do now include my own stats as it now shows you your stats for EACH table SEPARATELY (so it gives a good indication of how others at that table see you). It doesn't seem to so down as if it's rearting all your hh either - I think there has been a nice improvement slipped into GT+ here[/i]

Ice, GT+ is developed by someone else, so it doesn't come with PT, but it's free. You can find it here:
http://www.pokertracker.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3812

It's exactly like in the screenshot -- it can tell from the window title what table it is, and from the PT database it knows what position everyone is in.

Aperfect10,

Would you mind reposting the instructions please?

I have downloaded GT+. I have the shortcut on my desktop. So when I start playing, I need to set the auto hand history request like always right?

I usually set it for "every 15 minutes". Should I set it for every 5? Faster?

Pretend like Im an idiot and give me step by step instructions form there, pretty please.

I think it doesnt work unitl the 1st hand history download right?
I need to hit the "+" button once the 1st down load is done?
The stat will show up in my poker game window? Overlayed by the plaers name?
What happens when that guy leaves and a new guy sits down? Does it auto refresh to the new guy as soon as the next hand history down load occurs?

Do I need to keep looking back to the GT+ window? I guess not if the stats are overlayed on the poker window.

Yes you auto-import as normal (at Party/UB you can autoimport a table before sitting down at it). For those sites that store hands on your hard drive hand by hand you can set to auto import every minute if you like - for those that you download from pop3/email client the minimum setting is 5 minutes. The autoimports from email and from hard drive are different options on the same drop down menu..

If you have datamined an observed table you can actually see the stats before you sit down by selecting as the player chosen any of the players at the table when you click the GT+ '+' sign, but usually you wait until you are seated and have at least one hand imported before you fire up.

You should set the prefs section to set up what stats (and in what color and font you want to see) - a good starting point is hands Vp$iP,PFR,PFA, WTSD and hands played - these stats will be displayed for each player at all times (overlaid on the table) - you can drag them around the desktop if you wish to move them - you can see all the other stats with a mouse hover over the player name.

You then select yourself from the drop down list and THEN click the '+' button - it should bring up a list of your most recent tables - just click the relevant one (most recent is a top) and away you go - :D

One recent change is that if you set up in prefs to show your own stats at a table it now shows you your stats for just that table - this may reflect how others perceive you at that table and so is useful to leave turned on..
(your icon is still based on all your play though)
cheers

you shouldn't be using gametime windows - GT+ replaces these with overlays - you need to have a saved hand logged from a table before it will open

OK, so I think I understand all this.

Does GT+ work at Gaming Club at all? I mean, as far as I know there's no way to get hands to import to Gaming Club in real time. Is there?

Special instructions for Gaming Club, or is GT+ just impossible to use there?

I'm trying, honest I am, but can't seem to get it to work. Do I need to move to Party? Please say no. :)

Help help help!!!

Thanks.
