i kept talking to an oid friend about Tx HE...he seemed interested and said we'd have to play some...course i knew they played low stakes, but thought i'd join in for the fun...

Went over to his basement on Friday night and there were about 6 of us there, i knew 4 there from my hometown. Well it turned out to be dealers choice, not Tx HE every hand like i thought...when it got to me, i said Tx HE and put a cap on the all in...1st hand, everyone limped, i happened to have AQ, so raised it the cap...everyone folded and grumbled they didn't want to play this anymore.

What DID they play? Follow the Queen, midnight baseball, and Dr. Pepper...do you know what these games are??? puke
If chess probably is the most skilled game there is, nearly 100%, these 3 games have to be at the lowest in skill level there is. About an hour into this poker game joke, someone called Jacks to open/ Trips to win...you must have at least a pair of J's to open the pot and at least trips to win...if at any point you get out, you're out for good, until the pot is taken...i got out on someone bluffing trips...he didn't have them, so the game kept going...but i was out of the pot...i sat there for 20 minutes and still the game kept going...finally after twice suggesting just showdown the next hand, and let it win the pot, but them ignoring this, i got up and left...a week later i heard the game kept going for another 30 mins. after i left. I was glad i left.

Poker Hell

Those games where the wild card changes in mid-hand were the best. There was never a good reason to fold a hand. You just throw your money in the pot and see who has the best of it at the end, kind of like the way most people play in the 1/2 poker rooms in Florida.
