I am a long time lurker/occasional poster. I built a decent roll twice from almost nothing only to have lost most of it to cashing out for uncontrollable circumstances, and to be honest a little bankroll management problems.

Personal

I am 27 and live in Jacksonville Florida. I am the Techshop manager for one of the CompUSA stores here. So if you have any computer related ?'s feel free to ask. I have been playing poker on and off for about two years now.

Mission

To keep a journal of my progress to keep me on track. I am currently playing on Doyle's Room at the 0.02/0.04 NL 6 max tables for the last week and will probably stay here for a while. I began with a deposit of $100 and have worked it up to $120ish or so. So that is where I will begin. Well I am off to play a session, so updates to follow.

I started with $100 two years ago and am over $4000 now and I'm not a great player by any means. If I wasn't so adverse to risk I could have doubled or tripled that amount(or lost the lot). I'm sure with average luck and application that your bankroll will continue to grow.

Have you checked out the thread on Casino bonuses? I wish I had known about them back when I was building my bankroll from $100. I would only recommend the no-risk ones (the cryptos) until your roll is bigger.

What's the buyin for the .02/.04 game? $4 or do you buyin for 200bbs? As soon as you have 20 (or maybe 30 since its Tribeca) buyins + $100, I would deposit $100 into InterCasino and do their no-risk bonus. It'll take a few days to finish it, but if all goes well you'll almost double your bankroll with little effort and zero risk.
