I'm really starting to believe that the only real playable hands in low-limit Stud/8 are the low straight/flush draws, the hands that are great in multiway pots. The hands where you need to be heads-up -- high pairs, high straight-flush draws, etc. -- should not be played at the lower limits because you will rarely be able to thin the field enough. They'll win big pots occasionally, but you're going to end up throwing a lot of money away on them only to see them develop into second-best hands.
