I know I played this horribly. I got distracted as it was the one time all 4 of my tables were going off and I accidentally checked the turn, which may have saved me some money. How bad is the river? First off, I probably shouldn't have bet out and I only called the raise because I showed weakness on the turn and thought he was trying to steal it. Thoughts?

Play this hand any different? I'm pretty sure the other guy was on a straight draw so I would still have him beat on the turn. On the river, he bet $5 into now a $45 pot, I couldn't fold and luckily it was only a bad attempt to bluff.

They both had the K9 straight so I would have scooped.

Do you call the flop since a couple people called? I only had an under pocket pair, 2nd pair, a bd flush draw and a gut shot. I guess plenty of very marginal things but with that many callers, would it be good to peel one off since i close the action?

I know this is a marginal call but barring a total moron of an opponent, how much should I be willing to pay to see the turn or is it not worth it in pretty much all situations?

Hand 1: If it's a loose table I like a check raise; that pot is a bit too small for my mind. Betting is fine though. Turn check on a total blank is horrible, river call is poor. Bet pot on turn and then make a small bet/fold on river IMO, or perhaps check-call if you're up against an inveterate bluffer. Why check the turn? No-one has a set of queens 95% of the time here.

Ah, I didn't see you checked by accident.... Well, not so bad then but I still make the fold on the river I think, unless he's LAG. No biggie though! Don't worry.

Hand 2: Well played. If he checks the river you should really bet, with so little money left, as he's not getting away from two pair or a low set and is 99% sure to bet a straight.

Hand 3: Pretty marginal. I guess the implied odds are big, but I don't think anyone is liable to pay off big if you hit your 4 outer, so a fold seems best. PLayed fine again IMO. You certainly don't have close to the odds you need, although the backdoor flush/boat shot gives you a bit more I guess.

Hand 4: Out of position it's probably OK. With position, and esp. if he's bad, I'd be calling that. With a bet that size he might have the nut flush draw so it's dangerous, though you obviously have odds if he has anything else and will pay off. There is no harm to folding this out of position and it's not a problem.

Hand 3 - It was probably just because my perfect card hit on the turn after I folded to give me the nut straight with the royal draw. It seemed like you are right that I wasn't really gonna get paid off big enough to make the call worth it.
