Well that sucked. I used my FPPs to buy a $215 WCOOP event ticket. I played the limit hold em event today and had bill chen two to my left, and across the table I had the guy who won the omaha/8 event two days ago. The omaha/8 player sucked, but Bill Chen is real tough.
I was dealt AK and QQ about 923 times each. I managed to win about 2 pots with them.
In the meantime I got spanked playing 8 tables of $400 NL. I played an 888 hand session and managed to lose $924. That's pretty respectable considering how many cold decks and rivers I faced. I did river one guy in a big pot, although he made a pretty stupid call on the turn (he had AQ in a spot where I HAD to have AK, but instead I had A5 which gave me a wheel draw, nut flush draw, and live kicker. The board was also paired with 2s, so a K would have chopped it) which helped me not lose too much.
Had 2 big winning days in a row, and lost under $1000 today, I'll take it. Now I gotta do some laundry and such. I'm going to see Jackass II tonight, then Rosh Hashannah dinner tommorow night.
