I went out Friday and Saturday night, and my heater certainly cooled to a lukewarm trickle. I made $60 over about 16 hours. I did manage to make a couple good reads and save money on those occaisions. I cashed in two $120 STTs. I got sucked out on for a stack in a 3/5 game that I should not have been sitting in due to bankroll requirements, and I lost a coin flip for a stack in a short-handed 2/3 200 max game. I should just stick to the 1/2 100 max games for now, at least until I have 30 buy-ins for the 2/3 game.
I have played a little online, mostly 2/4 HORSE and 50 PLO at stars. I tried the 11r yesterday, but got nowhere. The HORSE cash games are very good though.
Emmasmom got deep in an $11 MTT yesterday, finishing 12/1600 and she is still doing very well in the $4.40 180 man SNGs, and is looking for a first win this week after a second and a third last week. Look out hard2tel, you have some up-and-coming competition.

in low limit big bet poker, you should always be asking "is this most likely a value bet?" when you vpbet or raise after the flop. you can try the occassional play in position in a short-handed pot, but other than that, they money comes from poor post-flop play by your opponents.
it sucks when you're card dead and/or flop dead (i still struggle with this when multi-tabling plo8), but minimizing your losses when card dead is what separates the modest winners from the big winners in low-limit big bet poker, imo.
