AS, the only thing that is being clear is the fact that you dont want to bother about learning the statistics related to the game.

When have i refused to accept advise? Hell, imight filter some things because as we all know some people offer advice/talk about things they dont know much and all that but I am here (BTP) because I am trying to learn more everyday.

I post some hands n the NL section fromtime to time. The ones I consider I had to make a difficult decision of some sort or simplywhen things dont work out the way i wanted to see if I was off ornot.

I am not making numbers to look good or look bad. I have been posting hands and results not to get fans but trying to get advise and to have a journal I can check how i was doing in general and how I was feeling at certain tme and situations.

Over the last 100K hands I have been running at 1.9ptbb/100 and I've had some crazy swings. I've lost more than 20buy ins, 15+ and 10+ more than two times. 45k hands played on NL$100 and the rest inNL$50 where I am practically breakin even. I dont tilt often and my database is available to anyone who wants it. That is something most people wont be able to say because it would show they are FOS. I am not.

If I am at risk of busting is because poker is my main source of income and I have been spending a bit more than usual because I am in a two months long trip in USA. If i had another income i would have more than 25K USD bankroll.

I am lazy sometimes to post the hands but in general I ave been posting and some for the most part I am not getting any feedback saying I am screwing it up too often.

Yes, i have been playing three or four tableslately. Tonight i played in five but I have playing lot less tables... i thin for about a week or so...

How is 2ptbb/100 while clearing bonus 15 tabling so bad? Somethings not adding up, because it seems like if you're pulling that in the long run that's a pretty decent income.
Shouldn't that be like $50+ an hour at $100NL and still pretty good at $50NL?

I'm sure that's not the case or you wouldn't be complaining, so someone clue me in.

That said if your logic is gonna be "You can be unlucky for 200K hands," I don't see how you know you weren't just lucky for the 200K hands before that.

AS, I appreciate the advice you give about specific hands, but that is something you rarely do. You only keep saying I have to do better because this or what is not possible and I have been telling you you are very wrong about those things. Hell! If you look back in this journal you will find a post from you were you said nobody could run bad for 13K hands .

As I said, I want help. The best help anyone can give is about the hands being posted.

you know that i'm not a nlhe specialist, but this stuff is standard big-bet poker, imo. if the nlhe people disagree with my assessments OF THE 50s, then i welcome the criticism. please keep in mind that i DO NOT advocate most of these lines for higher limits or aggressive games .

tough one, but i think you should have led out the turn or at least CRed more. he either has a lower flush, a straight flush (maybe with a one-card draw), or a set. you want to charge the draws a BIG premium -- i wouldn't get too cute and try to just price them out of making a correct call.


hand 5

hhhmmm... i think it's hard not to get stacked here, but i do think you could play it better.

what is the pfrr range of this player? what's his pfr %? if he's re-raising out of the BB, do you really think he has QQ or JJ? maybe.

anyway, why not put in the third raise pf? to me, it's either raise and try to get all the money in and shrug your shoulders if he has AA, or fold assuming that he does. maybe folding after villain puts in the 4th raise after you put in the 3rd (to $15 or $20) is possible, but you really need reads for that. the only card you want to see on the flop is a K with no A. other than that, you still will have no idea where you're at.

hands 6 and 7

without reads, the river calls are inexecusable, imo. furthermore, the only way you can call the turn is if you have enough pot or implied odds to draw to the boat. it seems pretty obvious to me that you're beat.


it seems to me that you have this fear of being bluffed off of a winner and/or folding a big(gish) hand. i love having these people at my table -- we trade small pots and then i take a big one off of them when i show them the nuts. rinse and repeat. you don't need to be that guy.


i encourage you to look over some of the stuff on PAhud. one stat that you might find enlightening is "win SD when raise turn" and "win SD when raise river". these are frighteningly accurate tells about how often villains have the goods or not. if you see someone with a high stat in these areas, lay down your 2nd best hand with confidence -- let the other people at the table pay off this person.

ON HAND ONE, I take this line quite often with AA on that boad againts a PF raiser. The only lkely hand he could have me beat was TT. The mistake I made n this one was actually preflop. I had to raise enough to NOT GIVE HIM appropiate odds to draw for the set. I failed to do that and I blame multitabling. I remember that hand like now and I knew i didnt raise enough but i think the time was almostup when i realized i had AA and the pot had been raised. I really disagree with pushing the flop because that would give away my hand and would've made fold lotsof weaker hads like KK,QQ,JJ hat were more likely that 77. When he pshed i thought he could had JJ but he could perfectly had QQ or KK and believe he had he best hand because of my flop cal.

Hand 2. You are probably right. I started raising AK from every position dontknow why. Probably because I am making money with it from all positions but i dontknow. I didnt feel hot about his flop call and when the K hit i didnt want to lead...i noted i was lost on that one.

Hand 3. You are probaly right here too but he minraised on the turn and then bet 12 into a 20ish pot. I think i was getting enough to justify a call with trips top kicker. The turn minraise is a monster quite often and you are probably right about the river call being bad. I felt 3:1 was decent.

Hand 4. I had to raise more on turn. For some reason I put him on the flush draw and wanted him to call. It was a mistake but still a suckout.

Kuso, I dont know why you think your advice could fall in to deaf ears. I never thought I had that image on these forums. Never thought of it until AS said it a few minutes ago...
