Was that player's name Stelvask or Ricardoon because they love to play those crap hands in tourneys.

It just sucks but it happens. When you get down to the end, you are gonna have to push with hands you don't want to get called and idiots are gonna call you every once in a while. If he just assumed he had 2 live cards, he was getting just about the right odds to call.

Regardless of his choice cards, I don't think there's much to complain about here. He's about a coinflip to you - so you are going home about half of the time. Next time, maybe you won't go home.

In any case, there's nothing you can do about it. Hopefully, the next time you are shortstacked you'll get aces and he'll make the same call.
