Variance is a bitch. Played again today at 2/3 NL. Got myself up to $500. Awfull player in MP raised to $15. I call with . Flop is A Q 9. She bets $20. I raise to $60 she reraises to $120, I push, she calls with AA.

Move to a new table with drunk maniac, he has been raising $33 blind every hand and then pushing all in on the flop, most of the time not looking at his hand. I look down at JJ utg. Guy raises to $33, 2 callers. I raise all in. He gets all pissy and says "I'm gonna call you and beat you." He still hasnt looked at hs hand. Flop is 886. He looks at his cards and says "your in trouble." Turn is another 8 river is a brick. He turns over 86.

Against donks it's just ridiculously tough to get off of big hands like that because the range of a donk increases to calling all-in on a flop with a flush-draw/straight-draw, naked ace, or two weaker pair A-9 or Q-9.

Sometimes in poker you just get a good, swift kick to the nuts for no reason. Just the cosmos's way of saying "hi."

Haha so this is my once every couple of months where I decide to play a tournament and realize that I'm not donkey lucky enough to win tournament.s I went on a nice rush early and was big stack with 90 players left out of 180. So I get bluffed off my hand by a moron. I raise from LP with KK. Flop is AQ5. I bet 2/3 pot he pushs. I fold and make my normal "nice catch" comment. He shows 44. Nice So then totally card dead. I didnt see a pair or an A for the next 63 hands. We get down to 28 players left and I've dwindled to the middle of the pack and then this fun hand. As soon as I pushed he goes in the tank, I actually said out loud "time to get beat by AQ or KQ" runner fucking flush and another god damn finished out of the money. I have no idea how people like hard2tell consitantly win tournaments. All I can do is find new ways to get knocked out when I'm a 3:1 fav preflop and 20:1 after the flop.
