This hand was a lot of fun - and I'm curious what others would do here: ($2/$4 Limit HE, 9 players)

I'm in MP and have pocket aces and it is folded to me. I raise. It folds around to the button, who reraises. The BB flat calls and I re-reraise. Both players call. (12.5 SB)

The flop is KKQ and BB checks. I bet out, the button raises, the BB folds and it is back to me - what to do?

First of all, would you have bet out on this flop with such an action-filled preflop? If it makes a difference, the BB in this hand is Piers... the button is a friend of mine who is a solid player, but can make bluffs on occasion. In Omaha he repeatedly draws to the wrong ends of straights and flushes - but he's a very solid Hold'em player.

I chose to call and see the turn which comes the third king. I check and my opponent checks. At this point, I am only beaten by a hand that has the remaining king in it - which means he would have to have AK given the preflop action - if he actually has the winning hand. QQ seemed fairly likely though - so I wasn't too happy when the river brought out a queen (final board: KKQKQ). I bet out and now he raises. I flat call.

I might have folded the flop but calling doesn't seem terrible against someone you know would bluff you. However, its hard to put him on QQ but I might have just check/called to induce a bluff. He could have checked the turn once he had quad kings to try to trick you into thinking he didn't have them.

I don't know if you've noticed this piers but I didn't actually cap - as GamesGrid allows 4 raises - just something to keep in mind if you think you can cap off to close off the round... (as if this comes up so often to make a difference...)

Yeah I did notice that but I am so used to 3 raises that I just mentally lapsed that it wasn't capped. I like the 4 raises myself and I like the unlimited raises on Crypto heads up as I have been the beneficiary of some pretty big pots by fools that just couldn't stop betting into me when I was either freerolling or had things like straight flushes against their A high flush or full house

Just played a little at GG today and finished up 1.00 That's my first positive day there since depositing so I guess I'll have to take it.
