I am UTG with and limps(seven people to every flop, didn't mind limping or calling raises with any pair), 4 more call, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop:

Blinds check, I bet, 3 folds, button calls, SB folds, BB calls. (Button and I have a little history...he beat me out of a big pot once and I took a big pot from him. He's a CS, no doubt. BB is just horrible, probably has one over.)

Turn:

BB checks, I bet, button calls, BB folds.

River is

I bet, button calls.

I flip over my set, he shows 92.

Knew I had the best hand, knew he would call that river even with a weak hand...pretty easy value town bet there.

AH dandahn- alas, i have to say that set of fours isnt quite value town. Close though- just imagine that one of those fours was an ace instead, and the other four was a jack, and you bet, and got called by AT. Hehe...Alls i can say dood is that you must be runnin REAL bad when you look at that and think Vtown, i mean fuggin A, it aint even an openended 4 straight....(that said of course, im totally surprised he didnt flop over K7o...)

BTW, kuso, LOLLERCOASTERCOPTERSKATESZOMGZOMGZOMG on that 22 comment, i just had to try and one up it though...

I have some decent Vtown from a few recent sessions, but im a little embarassed to postem since theyre at friggin 5/10...

Anteye: Standard-- ehh i dno, maaaybe... Tough to get paid there with a hand that doesnt beat you though. This particular mizor had paid me off with queenhighs and crap like that though cuz hes tite like that.

Dandahn: Well, i DID have bottom pair/no kicker, so pretty much any pair hand beats me...i wouldnt say i 'slowplayed' it...i probably would have laid my hand down to a turn bet, and if i called a turn bet i very well mightve laid the river if he fired again. I wasnt slowplaying, i was actually willing to fold.

The reason i didnt bet it (if thats what you mean by slowplayin) is that this was a blind battle (even though it was unraised) and its standard procedure for lots of mizors in blind battles to autocall when the SB fires here (i do it pretty often) because mizors love to limp anything in the SB and autofire at the BB no matter what they hold or what the board is. So, mizors in the BB call pretty often, and when that happens, they tend to love to autobet when checked to on the turn and i didnt want that to happen, because i didnt really want to have to call a big bet not knowin where im at really. In this spot, calling had a good chance of being more effective in terms of letting me know where im at than betting did.

Of course the other problem is when you check to the BB the BB will autobet pretty often too, but the difference is that when the SB calls, that gets the action out of auto-poker mode, because theres no such thing as an auto-SB call in that spot, the mizors gotta respect me a little and is usually going to check behind me on the turn if hes got crap, which is just what i wanted because it'd allow me to make my tite river bet, which was admittedly pretty thin, but worked out to be sorta tite.
