If I entered 6 a day like some people I know, I probably would have already.
As it stands, 2 blown chip leads HU in Dise tourneys in February is my closest.
Got down to the final two tables at Turning Stone twice now (neglecting satelites). Yesterday and in the $300 event in August.
Accumulating chips early I have decided is not as important as I've always assumed. You can just sit and wait for so long, and make a few timely double ups (or have a 62% chance to do so), and maybe a resteal here or there, and all of the sudden you're in the money. Then you get lucky on one blind steal, one resteal, and win a coinflip, and you're at the final table with healthy chips. Win 2 more coinflips and you're HU. Win 1 more and the tourney is over. Patience + Luck = tournament poker. Do I have it solved?
Boy, you got me confused with a man who repeats himself.
