I think it can be done...a while ago me and my friends played BJ with water(its was noon so it was too early for booze) basically it was 3 way BJ and person who is worst has to drink 0.5 L of water..and one of my friends drank about 4.5 L in total so im not sure about physical limits kuso...this was in max 2 hour period(eventought i think it was something like 30 mins)

hmm - a yard of ale is just under 3 pints and downing it in one is quite common in the UK - I once downed a yard of fizzy lemonade (put into yard glass direct from tap) as a bet.

The volume of liquid was no issue.
The carbonation and the fact it was chilled made it pretty tricky though - I burped for about 30 minutes
