Having a big bankroll for the stakes you play.
I can shrug off a $200 lost coin-flip.
A $1000 lost coin-flip would tilt me for weeks.
When the stakes seem small then you can pursue EV more clearmindedly - the other way would be simply to have no fear even when the stakes are big for you - but like you I simply don't have that mentality

I am a lot like you CJ, when I first started I was totally weak tight. I only wanted to put money in when I knew I had the best hand. The idea of putting money in on a draw was something I didnt really like. I think through reading and playing I have gotten more and more agressive. I think the only way to change is train yourself to. For me it was just getting used to losing occasionally and learning that losing a buy in is part of playing the most +ev game sometimes. I dont tihnk I will ever be a gambler, I will never enjoy playing craps for big money or anything like that but as long as I know I'm making plays that are +EV losing is ok.
