I've played an absolutely insane amount of 2-7 over the last month, but I was a bit weak-tight as I was learning more, so my game was more the trappy-TAG type, but I'm incorporating more situational aggression into my game as I progress now.

Couz is a total LAGtard on the cheap draws and gets straightforward on the big stre .

songwebb is a pretty solid player. Very aggressive when he has a hand. We've been exchanging money for a while as I sat the table first and we played HU for a while. My read was just that, an ABC.

Im not sure why you would stand pat/check. That seems like the worst combination of plays there. If you are standing pat to take the pot away assuming they draw one again and miss, why check? If you want to show the hand down cheaply, why stand pat on the 10?

assuming one is drawing to a rough 7 and one is drawing to the nuts, you are a very slight favorite drawing 1.

Pot is approximately $130, so you would be betting 13:1 on 4:6 odds. The problem with checking is that there are some hands that beat you if you stand pat and check. I cant see (assuming they are not total donks) them watching you stand pat, drawing 1 and then calling with anything in the iffy range that beats you (rough 8, any 9, smooth 10). Well maybe the smooth 8.

I think the danger is in not knocking the marginal hands that beat you show it down cheaply.
