Apparently they ran an xmas tourney and it was a 19k GTD in the description. But the pool was barely a quarter of the guaranteed, so after the tourney was over and the players got their prizes, PR went into their accounts and took out the money without even telling them.


That is robbing!!

How can they do that?...Money in anyones accoun should be like money in your wallet.. poker room can't touch it

I'm guessing some dumbass did it because he thought he'd get fired, and now he's definitely getting fired and everyone gets their money back. 19k isnt big enough for a site to do something like this.

Once I lost 170 there. I contacted support and they told me something weirdI cant even remember. I just know it was basically "No, you are wrong, your balance is corrcect." So i understood I wasnt going to recover my money.

It wasnt on Poker room but in a skin, holdem poker, which i understand is basically the same.

I read about 40 pages of the thread...

PokerRoom.com argues that the tournament was never ment to be 19K guranteed, nonetheless it was announced like it, So basiclly they are saying:

"ooopppss sorry it was our mistake but that money is not Yours is ours so we take it from the accounts."

And so far, NO, they are not giving the money back. They gave the players a $10+1 buy in ticket for another tourney in compensation, plus the $20 they paid for the tournament. Wich IMO is SICK !

I imagine bonuswhores dot com and other sites will blacklist them for this if they don't fix it. That'll cost them a lot more than $19K.
