hard - when you make the money how conservatively do you play - assuming M in 10-20 range - are you waiting for premium hands knowing they are likely to double you thru as some donk is pushing most hands or are you more llikely to be the guy push restealing from the BB with JTs?

I am pretty good at getting so say top 30-40 in MTT's but then seem bust out just before the FT push...

GOALS FOR 2007----

Since ive been awake for like 24 hours now and cant think straight i thought it would be the perfect time to make my goals for 2007 post...i.e, most likely unrealistic but totally fun to think about doing post.

poker goals--

1) At least one 6-figure score.
2) Keep improving my MTT play.
3) Have success on FT and UB.
4) Be thought of as highly as the top-tier MTT players by my peers.
5) Cash in a WSOP nlhe event.

I didnt include a monetary goal because i honestly dont know how much im gonna be playing this year. There are so many things i wanna do im actually having trouble fitting everything in. I think a fair, conservative estimate is a profit of 100k this year. This includes all the money im gonna spend on trips, at the WSOP, etc. The 31k i just won does not count towards the 100k.

life goals--

1) Move out of this fucking house.
2) Get a real girlfriend...not just some girl to have sex with.
3) Learn how to cook.
4) Gain weight. I want to be a solid 190-200 a year from now.
5) Travel. Europe before the WSOP most definately. Thailand in March maybe. Aussie whenever probably. Vegas probably 2-3 times..Feb, WSOP, and sometime else.
6) Just have a fun year.

I think thats it. If i think of anything else i'll post it.

when i was thinking about starting my own business i asked my father, who is a successfull entreprenuer about quarterly taxes. he said that if you cant really project your income that well, you should just pay the fines and do it at the end of the year. i dont think the fines are super significant maybe in the range of 1-2k.

anyway check it out thats just what i remember.
