so today i had to go to work, which was not really that cool. but it was really pretty out after the freezing-ass morning. and my eyes werent freaking out from staring at the computer screen for 4562345 hours straight.

so i got back and played two sessions. first session was lame and boring and i won 32 cents. that is over uhm 600 hands for a mighty 0.13 ptbb/100. this session is not going to help my goal of minimum 7.5 ptbb/100 at this limit. hmm.

anyway, played better in my evening session, and i also flopped and turned quads to stack guys, which does help. but i had some good plays in there too, a CRAI and some good value betting against the donks. didnt pay anybody off, which was tite. no real horrific beats either, which is super tite.

anyway evening session was 390 hands at 33 ptbb/100 for a $51 dollar profit

my favorite hand of the night was when i had 55 and the flop came KK5 and the turn was a 5 and the river was a J and some poor bastard pushed me all in with KJ...sick

well i am gonna go get drunk tomorrow night, so this will be my december summary. it has been an up and down month. i was very excited to move up to 50nl but i wasnt ready for it apparently. but i am ok with my decision to move back down and build up the roll again.

ugh lousy session. i actually hit my 4 buyin stop loss. wasnt playing too bad, but wasnt playing great either. had the pleasure of running KK into AA twice and running it into Q9 once which nailed me by making trip 9's. lost AA to 76 offsuit after raising to TEN times the BB preflop. didnt deter the little bugger. there were actually two guys who called 10BB raises preflop that hand. first guy had 76 offsuit and called. the second guy had 10/3 but it was suited. i of course lost this hand. meh.

so i ruined my pretty ptbb/100 number, and started january off on a downer.

won 50 bucks playing 3/6 limit at the indian casino last night. actually won 113 but im staked in that game because i dont want to fugg up my poker bankroll with some stupid limit variance, so i give half my winnings to my rich friend and he absorbs all losses, of which there have been none to speak of.

just played a short session of 25nl and hosed a bunch of short stacks. they kept pushing me all in with like Q5 and other nonsense. i have developed an insta-call for them.

in this session i ended up winning like 27 dollars or something. bankroll is now $636

january is back in the green at $25, counting the 50 that i made playing limit that is not going in my bankroll but is instead going to be spent buying expensive cocktails at some fancy bar in san francisco with my brother and his ladyfriend tonight. hes in town from edinburgh, so it will be cool to hang out with him. wish we could just get a six pack and sit in my apartment, but i doubt that his special lady would be into that. oh well.

bah kill me. rivered on my last hand for a buyin, resulting in another losing session. that makes 3 in a row. this is like an 8 buyin downswing, 50 percent because i suck and 50 percent because of retarded beats making me suck even more.

uhm i need to stop sucking at poker. seriously. i also need to get rakeback at some site, and have it actually happen. the last 2 times i tried i got a total of like 20 dollars. dammit. now i gotta go to my other job.

im gonna take a couple days off and read some books and stuff. im thinking about going back to UB because i think i can get rakeback there and because it is more conducive to my style. when you arent running well the calling stations at tribeca make things so difficult, i dont know. im gonna stick with tribeca for the rest of this month and see how it goes.

well, played a bunch 'o' hands tonight. 1200 hands at 15 ptbb/100. won like 70 bucks. which was nice, on top of a nice victory yesterday. bankroll is back up to $650. i dont want to figure out all the numbers right now, but im playing way better, which is the important bit.

went to cache creek last night, and lost 140 bucks just horribly cold decked. luckily i am staked in that game so i only lost the 50 bucks that i won the last time i went there. oh well, whatever. limit is for the birds anyway.

overall ptbb/100 is like 5.4 after a disasterous start to the month. i think it will be pretty easy to get it back over 7.5 and hopefully up to 10 by the time i get to 1500 for my move up to 50nl.

I live right by Cash Creek but I'm not old enough to play there.

What kind of games do they usually have running?

Also those hands look good just make it a little more to go preflop.

at cache creek they have 3/6 and 4/8 limit and a 1/2 and 2/5 no limit games. my bankroll is tiny so i only play the 3/6. 4 dollar rake per hand (3 for the rake 1 for jackpot). i dont know how terrible that rake is, but it seems pretty lousy.

the waiting list can take forever on a friday/saturday night, but soon they are opening a new poker room that will be enormous. play at 3/6 is comically bad.

where do you live handles? up in the capay valley somewhere? im in berkeley.

ive heard the nl games are pretty fishy, but someone on here was telling my you can only buy in for 50bb, and you can only rebuy to the max if you drop below 25bb. sounds pretty lame to me.
