im sitting in early position with 22. blinds are at 50/100 on UB.
i call. big stack is 2 down, he calls, one more caller. flop is A2Q. i check, hoping to trap bc big stack raises anything. big stack raises pot. which is at 300. i have 1400 chips left. he has around 3000. other calls. i raise min. he raises me min. other folds. i go all in. he turns over AQ. give you 2 guesses as too which card pops up on the river, and it isnt the A. its the Q. did i play this wrong. there were 7 people left in the tourney. there was no preflop raise, so he wasnt holding pp. any thoughts, comments.

There is no way either you or him should lay this hand down...He could have easily had AK AJ or AT and been aggressive w/ top pair as well here and you would have been in a dominating position...You still had a huge advantage, but he had outs. If you had bet out at this pot, he would have raised you and you would have pushed all in, same result.

Both of you played this pot correctly, except I would have raised AQ in a tournament. Just move on to the next SNG and hope your set holds up that time...it probably will.
