I think I missed a possible bet on the river, but maybe thats because I have been running bad and getting c/r a lot on that lately (at 3/6 anyway).

I realized that one of the few notes that I keep on people (besides obviously weird play) is whether or not they double bet when their door card pairs. Sugarfoot did not here, and I went with my read (till I chickened out on the river) and took it down.

I always double bet, even if it is a crap pair and I dont have a set. About the only time I dont is if the table has been weak and I have been running over it. Then I will check a low set smaller than 6s.

Do you find that the double bet tell is reliable with paired door cards on 4th?

The double bet tell is alive and well with over half of the players up to 5/10. I have seen people slow play sets and double bet when they don't have it, but when there is more than one opponent that is just plain stupid imo.

So do you always double bet? or only with a set? overpair?
