I went there once Emmas Dad and didn't really dig it. I was playing $5/$10 limit online at the time so I didn't play NL, but with the rake + only 3/6 games it wasn't a very lucrative venture.

won 50 bucks off my poker buddies tonight in a 20 dollar buyin home game. played well, and these guys arent real good anyway. so i think that puts me about 40 bucks up for january. i really need to get some hours in online, ive just been busy busy.

meh, i gotta be up in 4 hours. damn poker.

so, been playing a couple hours per night. got a couple weak beats last night that completely obliterated my 40 dollar win in 2 hands. meh.

tonight i won 17 bucks. it was all pretty small pot poker, no wins more than 8 dollars no losses more than 5. dont really know why, just the way it was.

still at about 5 ptbb/100 at tribeca 25nl. really gotta get that bumped up, hopefully will start running hot. im very happy with my play now, though. just gotta get the hours in. tomorrow should be good for that.

played hoops for a couple hours today with my buddies. dang was i in a bad mood. had the shortest fuse for the idiots at the gym. oh well. anyway i got home and fired up some poker, and slowly lost about a buyin at 25nl from card death and continuation bets. luckily i hit trips playing this total moron calling station and won it all back plus a few dollars in one hand. i played pretty well i think, maybe a little weak/tight, but i didn't really have that many good hands. with all these calling stations, its tough to do much without the damn cards.

anyway i ended the day with a bankroll of $672

so, i was a persistent bastard today. i sat down this afternoon with every intention of playing a good winning session. but i started losing. ran top two pair into quads. ran KK into AA. all the usual fugged up stuff that happens when you are playing and running bad. so i eventually find myself down a couple buyins. but i keep playing and battle back to within 1 buyin. then i proceed to yoyo up and down in torturous fashion for a while. get hammered by an allin on the turn who hits his river flush, and then a couple hands later a ludicrous 2 outer for another stack. so i decide: fuck work tomorrow, i need to have a good session. these players all suck. im going to play until i get my bankroll over 700 fvcking dollars.

so i get my damn blanket, and proceed with the plan. i get there by hosing some lagtard who pushes me all in when he has JJ and I have AA. next hand he slowplays flopped trips and lets me catch a runner runner str8, and then pays me off. so tite.

anyway, i played 1650 hands and only won at 5.6 ptbb/100. but fuggit i won, which is what i wanted to do.

bankroll is now $711, so i guess i won uhm 40 bucks overall, although from my lowpoint i am up 90 dollars.

ugh. doomswitch was on today. i lost two buyins with AA going all in preflop twice, once against K10 and once against QQ and KJ all in preflop. beats were ridiculous and plentiful. i actually had two friends watching, one of whom is a professional poker player. it helped to have them there and reassure me that i was playing well and stuff. oh well i didnt tilt. man the beats were lame. i lost 3 buyins from my highpoint. bankroll is at 687 after the last of the ridiculous beats. i have 64. flop is 647. i bet pot, shortstack is all in. turns over 97. turn is a 9, fvck you very much.

oh well. january is now a 76 dollar winner. i dont even want to look at my ptbb/100 after this session. well, it probably cant get much worse than the beats i took tonight.

so, tommy was trying to figure out what an arborist is. i dont know if you would say i "shoot" them. but i do fvck with em every chance i get.

anyway played another 1200 hands today. played pretty bad in the beginning, especially on this one hand that me and anders and macanthony talked about a lot. our conclusion was that i should not play so many marginal hands until my post flop play is *less* atrocious. i agreed with them, and am open to any suggestions of bettering my post flop play. im going to go back and watch a gajillion CR videos to try and get some insight on reraising/checkraising sizes, which i often am not sure about.

ok so i actually concentrated in my later session, and i think played probably the best poker of my life. i didnt win a ton, but made all the right plays (i think) for a TAG style. the session ended up about 58 dollars, at 11 ptbb/100.
