How far should I push my bring in defense??

I have {2 3} J, and I have to bring in, folded around to the guy on my right... .60 (this is .25/.50 HORSE on UB) in the pot from antes, my bring in was .15, and he raised to .15 with a 2 showing.....

I folded, but in hindsight... I'm thinking I should have called, and gotten pretty aggro if he bricked on 4th and I caught low.....

hhmmm... i think it depends on how likely villain is to steal. if he's a blufftard with a good upcard, then i think your line is fine. otherwise, you very well may be leaking.

my basic rule of thumb is that i want my two hole cards to be lower than villains upcard... and i pretty much don't want a K or Q as my upcard. this gives you enough outs to let people know that you can't be pushed around.

as for "aggro on 4th"... i think that may be a bit optimistic unless he hits a Q or K and/or he's a blufftard.

also, i'm not sure if i read the action right, but if you just have to call .10, then i think it's an easy call no matter what.

I think it depends on what my up card is. I think I call with any 10. The problem comes when you catch good on 4th, but he catches a rough card that beats your up card. I wont play kings and queens here, jacks against a loose player, but nomally nothing above a 10.
