May Overview
Well, I'm sure you are all tired of me belly-aching about my losses last month. Well, hopefully, this month will work out a little better. There's a lot going on this month, and there definitely will be some trials for my online bankroll, but hopefully in the end I will come out ahead.
I am keeping the same plan for my online bankroll this month as last month, but there is a little bit of a catch to it. Since I am taking a fair amount out for Foxwoods for the 2nd weekend of May, if I lose the money there, I'm going to be "paying" that off first before I cash out my online winnings to myself. Its tough to explain really, but it will become clearer as I get closer to the time.
Also, by next Monday, I need to start cashing my money out just for that trip, so next week, my bankroll will be looking a little sparse - hopefully I won't hit a down swing at that time.
Since I need to withdraw the money starting next Monday (so it gets into Neteller and then into my checking account), I'm hoping to get the 3 cryptos done (Interpoker, PokerPlex and William Hill) at the very least. Right now, my bankroll among those three account for half of my online bankroll, but I will probably take a little out of UB as well, depending on how things go.
While my bankroll is out of commission, I will probably be playing mostly at GamesGrid because, while the games aren't very good, the bonus is - and it can withstand a lot of bad luck while my bankroll is out. It should be boosted almost right away with a $120 bonus from prop play there - so that it will go a long way.
Oh, and here's the bankroll plan:
Tier 1: For the first $200 profit in a given month, it all stays in the bankroll
Tier 2: For the next $200 profit, it is taken out into my savings for bills
Tier 3: For the next $600 profit, it is split evenly
Tier 4: Anything beyond $1000 profit is withdrawn completely.
And remember, this is only Online profit. I expect I'll be taking out $1000 for the weekend of the 13th and putting whatever is left on the 15th or 16th. If it turns out that I lost some of the initial stake, but still finish up for the month - anything I would normally have cashed out will be paid to the balance of the $1000 that I lost.
For instance, I cash out $1000 and bring back in $800. I finish the month up $700, so $200 would be kept in my bankroll, the next $200 would normally have been cashed out - but instead will be kept in the bankroll, and then the remainder is split among online and my account. So in this scenario, I'd only actually be cashing out $150.
Here are the stats for the last six months:
11/2004 51.067 hrs, $247.61, $4.849/hr
12/2004 54.533 hrs, $65.14, $1.194/hr
1/2005 78.850 hrs, $463.69, $5.881/hr
2/2005 66.767 hrs, $445.86, $6.678/hr
3/2005 71.850 hrs, $528.89, $7.361/hr
4/2005 88.467 hrs, $90.33, $1.021/hr
April is my black sheep and I will be happy to set it go away in six months. Hopefully, this month will be markedly better. My rolling hourly rate from November through April is $4.475/hr. Still below minimum wage, but for a little on the side, I can't really complain. I still hope that I will reach $10/hr soon - if only for a month.
Well, here goes another month - let's see how it turns out.
