So, I've been playing quite a bit the past few days, but I've been way too lazy to post results and hands and stuff. Poker has been going well, although a bit swingy. I was playing real well my last session, but I quit because I got a bad feeling about online poker overall and just felt kinda bummed. Kinda bummed is not a good mindset for a poker player, so I just stood up from my tables and decided to write some stuff instead.
I have come up with a new poker idea. I will name it the "Tribeca Coinflip". The Tribeca Coinflip is a situation where you dominate your opponent, get all your money in the middle, but because you are playing at Tribeca you only have a 50% chance (at best) of winning. And you know this, in the pit of your stomach. I noticed this "Tribeca Coinflip" feeling earlier today when I got a shortstack allin preflop. I had AJ suited. He had A10. I was thinking...ok, this could be worse...lets see what happens. Calling all 10's please...and theres the 10 on the flop and I lose. Now I get this same feeling with all my money in the middle with KK vs Q10 and KK vs A7 and QQ vs K4 (all losers in the last couple days). It helps to think to yourself "well, im probably about 50/50 here, lets just hope for the best". The Tribeca Coinflip feeling ends with you feeling lucky when you beat 88 with AA...
Anyway the bankroll, despite all of the Tribeca Coinflips, is up to $1229
Feb total: $159
Goddam Action Points (GAP) 63,000
