Saturday January 27th.

Today I did great. I can only remember a hand where I CALLED all in a big fish with QQ on a 245 board . He had 33 and hit the river. Other than that...oh, also the BIGGEST fish playing NL$50 in Stars called a 6BB raise with J2 and hit two pairs. Of course I paid him because he sucks so much and he pushed before me and he only had liken 19 left. I thought I as good to go. The board was something ike j24 or some stupid thing. Now the good ones:

http://www.pokerhand.org/?773485

This was asking for trouble, but I hit! http://www.pokerhand.org/?773490

Some on you wont ike this but this guy had been floating me like 99% of the times and then betting the river or leading turn when I hit. I probably lose some value by not betting this turn but I think it was the best way to extract in any river. His bet looked like a value bet and I put hm on a Q. I should have put him all in because he wasnt going anywhere. http://www.pokerhand.org/?773493

I realy dont know wtf is going through my mind when I make this kind of bets. I am trying to induce raises too often. Tis guy was also a 60/22/4. http://www.pokerhand.org/?773498

WTF!!! again? It seems it worked though...I have to stop doing it! http://www.pokerhand.org/?773503

Very aggro vilain. It was heads up. I let him do the betting. http://www.pokerhand.org/?773508

This is the same guy who stacked off with 88 or soemthing in the previos QJ hand. I had been raising adn reraising him because he was fairly WT. He got on tilt and spewed a few buy ins. I really thought TP Q kicker was enough. Thin? http://www.pokerhand.org/?773516

HAND OF THE DAY!! http://www.pokerhand.org/?773280

WTF!! Again? I cant even remember this hand. This is probably the multitabling thing: http://www.pokerhand.org/?773519.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGG. http://www.pokerhand.org/?773525

http://www.pokerhand.org/?773532

I made $268 today. .

Give Phil in the Omaha forum a nudge and ask him when his equity vs actual analyser for HE will be ready.

i have determined that your "bad run" is due to you posting that hand where u hit a set with KK against my AA, stacked me, and then posted about it in your journal...in order to rectify the situation just send me the $200 from that pot on pokerstars...SN JustFoldFish...as soon as i receive the money, i will lift the curse

I lost 210 in 1080 hands. Set over set and so many three outers is not even postable. Yesterday I lost another 75 on party poker.

Bankroll on 1870 and decreasing...this is so frustrating I cant describe it anymore.

OK. I am playing in arty tonight. I encourage everybody to dataminemy tables to see how awful i am. I dont tilt that much. Lately I have been tilting at least a buy in everynow and then but i ask, who wouldnt?

Here they are:

http://www.pokerhand.org/?787602

http://www.pokerhand.org/?787604

http://www.pokerhand.org/?787611

http://www.pokerhand.org/?787614

http://www.pokerhand.org/?787618

http://www.pokerhand.org/?787624

http://www.pokerhand.org/?787635

The 66 hand, I knew I was ahead. This guy was te only reason I was at the table. He was simply awful. He was flat calling with big pairs and reraising all in all kind of crap, i.e. QT, J9s, A8s. It might be thin but I was ahead.

The AJ hand was tilt and i stood up inmediately. I only took one stack and it wasnt even full. I think I floped three sets and the only that had some action was the one where JJ hit.

Please datamine my Party tables. PLEASE.

Well, I should probably be the last person giving out advice the way I've been running the last couple weeks, but what the heck.......

Hand 1 - Yeah that sucks. I know the feeling lately.

Hand 2 - I'd probably just call that river, but then again I'm paranoid and also not tilting at the moment

Hand 3 - Played well in my opinion

Hand 4 - Again, I'm paranoid and again figure he has a better 2 pair. I probably would end up check/calling the river which gives him a chance to bluff a missed draw. Crap like this seems to happen whenever you think you're value betting, don't it?

Hand 5 - WTF are you doing? Even if you are ahead, your most likely pushing a coin flip. Wait for a good flop to do something like that. Any of the hands you mentioned are a coinflip.

Hand 6 - I've rarely played that short-handed so who knows.

Hand 7 - You know what it was.

About the tilt thing, I completely understand and I have saved myself some money by getting up after a rough hand or two. But the comment about tilting off a buy-in every now and then is what scares me. I'm not saying that I'm not guilty of it too, but I think I've gotten way better at it. Tilting off a buy-in is a pretty big deal that shouldn't be blown off. Can you imagine what your win rate would be if you didn't tilt off any buy-ins? Say you tilt off 1 buy-in a week. That's $200 - $250 profit per month. Bout $2500 - $3000 per year. That's a lot of profit. May or may not be possible, but it's something we should strive for.

hand 1

cap flop... doesn't really matter since you get stacked anyway (assuming cards are the same). i'd also consider a reraise pf depending on how loosely villain raises.

hand 2

pf. flop, turn are all ok, imo -- that is, i think it's one of several viable lines. the river push... i dunno. i'd just call the bet since you only have an overpair.

i can also see value-pushing if villain calls down light all the time, but what do you think you're beating here? villain could have AA, KK, the other QQ, JJ, 99, 88, and maybe 9x (like an sc or suited ace) to beat you, and you beat TT, Jx, 8x, and 4x (most of which don't call your river raise). if you're going to induce a bluff, i would just call it if successful.

hand 3

fine -- this line reps an overpair. depending on reads (esp. af and/or agg freq), i might lay down to the flop bet (esp. to an ABC player). he likes his hand enough to bet into the pf raiser, so i have to have a read that he's "tricky" or bets marginal hands like this for the raise to be a good play.

hand 4

the min raise on the flop reeks of A-rag that hit or a set. continuing with this hand is a leak unless you think you can push him off his hand. if you want to play it, i'd repop the flop a healthy amount to find out if he really likes his hand. at the 50s, though, i'm not sure if you really want to try to get people to lay down 2pr.

hand 5

ok... classic coinflip. you'll win some and lose some. you really better be certain that you almost never see a bigger pair here, though. i doubt that's the case.

hand 6

i'd bet more on the turn if i'm going to bet. i'd really like a read on villain to figure out if he was chasing the flush. i can't believe villain played his hand so weakly (e.g., reraise pf would be nice, leading out flop would work, raising flop is possible).

hand 7

LEAK... assuming villain is your plain vanilla ABC player, his line screams overpair and you gift-wrapped your stack for him. i realize this somewhat contradicts my comments in hand 6, but my point is that you stuck your whole stack in while hand 6 villain could have tested the waters with a much smaller portion of his stack (and likely won).
