i fuc king hate variance shit. down 6 buyins tonight. First hand on a table I run queens into aces on an undercard board, shortly after I run a set of twos into a turned set of 8s. KK all in on turn with board of 256J, obviously A6 hits their A. I run pocket tens into JJ on an all undercard flop, no raise from him preflop. QQ vs 7/3 on a flop of 973. KK vs QT on a T83 flop. And finally, the hand that absolutely killed me: AT vs AQ on an AT3 flop.

All for 3/4 stacks or more. All hands I was ahead on the flop. I didn't mention the retarded pots, like KhK vs QhQ vs Ah7 on a flop of 3h4h9h. 18 dollar pot to the turn brings the fourth heart. I fold after they both go all in.

Although you definitely hit a string of bad luck there, on at least some of the hands perhaps it was time to slow down with top pair or an overpair? I know at times I am guilty of pushing too hard with TP myself, these days if I get a call after a pot sized bet on the flop, ill generally check the turn and call or value bet a modest amount on the river.

eg: AQ vs AT, you were beating AJ and Ax, but if someone is fighting back strongly, doesnt that make you think AK, AT or a set is a strong possibility? Just some food for thought

So I cashed out another grand, and I'm pretty much right back to where I started before my 3r score. I'm just gonna grind out 10 and 25NL and cash out 1k pretty much whenever I can. I think I might just play 25NL right now and only drop down if i need to. Also, I think i'll prob just try and save all the money i've withdrawn (other than 1k for my laptop), so that way i'll have my live roll started already.
