The flop play is standard, but the preflop call is a huge mistake. abc player from utg+1 will generally always have a hand there. 73s is definitely not the kind of hand you call with for implied odds - it just doesn't have very good connectibility with any flops. (other than all same suit or flopped straight obv., as well as the kind that you described.)
