How well are your big starting hands holding up?

Postby stealthtt385 » Mon May 09, 2005 12:04 am

I'm curious to see what winning percentage I should expect to see with the best starting hands.

(All statistics are based on 10,232 hands.)

AA 66.67% 1.91
AKs 64.29% 1.35
AKo 52.38% 0.58
KK 67.86% 1.57
QQ 68.42% 2.04
JJ 69.57% 1.92
TT 33.33% (0.13)
AJs 58.33% 1.72

Do any of these seem low? Does it seem weird that JJ is my best hand? If anybody wants to post their stats that would be pretty cool.

Thanks

I got 30 k hands

AA 81%
AKo 56%
AKs 60%
KK 76%
QQ 74%
JJ 64%
TT 62%

I cant tell you exactly what your stats are SPOSED to be-- I play short handed too, so that could also make my big hands holdup better

As far as i know though, aces and kings both only winning 2/3rds of the time is pretty damn low, and it seems like your taking a beating on these hands- also the fact that your kings and your aces are about the same in terms of winning % means that your aces are losing more than they should, because AA, it seems to me anyway, should win a good deal more often than KK.

AKs 53.93%
AKo 52.43%
KK 62.99%

Heh, I'm running obscenely well with AA over the 12k hands in my db -- 92.45%. TT is a very slight loser, I'll have to look into that.

Piers,

If I may give a bit of advice...you're probably a bit too hesitant to put in the 3rd/4th bet with QJsooooted preflop. For that matter, you should experiment with limp-reraising. Get in as much money as you can with that monsta!
