I put my name on the $300 minimum waiting list. The game is $5/$10 but you must bring it in for $20. Stacks are basically $2k-$8k. I also put my name on the $1000 max list.
As I'm sitting next to the $300 min game I meet 2+2er Gary Stevenson, whom I was trying to find a picture of earlier in the day, so I'd know who to watch out for. No need for the pics now I guess.
My name gets called for $1000 max at 6:45, so I sit down. The table seems moderately juicy.
At 8:45 Bill Ivey sits down three seats to my right.
At 9:00 the 3 fingered man who busted me from the tournament this morning sits "across" from me.
Interesting table talk revealed the following:
Bill Ivey has $76k stuck on Neteller. Sick.
That kid who got his tuition paid by Pokerstars' Concierge Service? He posted about it on 2+2 and I'm sure many of you read about it. That's "kignsofcards" on Stars, whom I've played with before. He was sitting directly to my left.
Anyway I built up to like $2400 or something with much pwnage. I stacked "slickrick" and then some numbers, once. I can't remember the numbers on the end of his screen name and the name didn't ring a bell.
Then I played the nut flush draw very poorly/strongly against top set and got it all in on the flop. It went brick brick and I lost like a $3800 pot. I was completely unphased, but quite dissappointed in myself for incorrectly reading his hand. I got up about 10 hands later. -$600
Boy, you got me confused with a man who repeats himself.
