Todays session I decided to use a shortstack system I invented a while back. I started out at the NL $50's and was trying to have 7 tables up and running at all times. I would buy in for 20BB and then pretty much fold or push until I am broke or stack >32BB in which case I leave the table and start a new one.
After a while I was up too much for me to be able to do only NL $50 tables in order to keep
all the money in play all the time(tm) so I had to start up some $100 tables as well. When I finished I had 3 NL $100 and 4 NL $50 tables running and was up $126 in a little more than an hour. It's a dirty job, but the money is good.
Here's what some of the junk they called me with...
TT vs A7s + 99 (99 flat called, A7s overcalled my push, flop brings an A, I lose)
AK vs K5 (He limp/called my push UTG, hits a 5. Duh!)
99 vs JT + KQs (KQs limps UTG, I push OTB, SB cold calls with JT and KQs makes a nice overcall and rivers a Q)
33 vs K7 (I open-push OTB, he just calls in the SB, I flop a set and drag)
AQ vs KTs (Another cold caller of my EP push, I get no respect but I get the money)
QQ vs KK (one of the two times I was actually behind preflop, I flop a set
)
My stats (450 hands):
vpip: 10%
Pfr: 7.3%
BB/100: 21
Result: +$126
Bankroll: $204
