I have now cashed out almost all of my roll to invest in other areas, but I am leaving $1,388 to play in $26 tournaments on Full Tilt. I will play in one to three tourneys a day and hope to cash big in one sooner or later. If I don't cash I will go bust, and I don't plan on depositing any time soon. I am hoping that my other ventures can be more successful than poker was for me. This is not me quitting poker. It is me finding easier ways to make money with less work. The tourneys will be for fun now and hold no significant meaning to me. I am so lazy that I am finding an easier way to make a living than poker. Man I rule.

You are kind of well established playing $200NL. I dont see how you are going to be making 4-5K/month with $10K or less.

At this point in my life I am doing alright playing around in the stock market. I have pulled all money out of poker but $90, and I am gong to run it it up to 10k. The last time I ran my bankroll up over 10K it started from $25 and it took me about 9 months with me making regular withdraws. It was also the most fun I have ever had playing poker.

The plan

Today and until my bankroll gets to $300ish I am going to be playing 6 tables of 25nl. I will buy in for $15 on each table and if I double up I will wait for the blinds to get back to me and leave.

When the bankroll reaches $300 I will buy in for the max at 25nl and if I double up I will cash out and leave the table.

At $650 I plan on moving up to 50nl leaving if I double up.

I will stick with 50nl until my bankroll reaches $1400. Once I am over a thousand I will not leave if I double up at 50nl.

I will play at 100nl until I hit $4000 at which point I will move back up to 200nl.

I don't know how long this will take or if I will be pulling out money as I go. If I don't pull out any money I think I can reach $10K in about 4 months. It really depends on how busy I am with other things that are going on.

This is me starting over.

Well, starting over at 25nl was not all I thought it would be. It lasted about two weeks and I only played about 2 hours of poker before I decided to deposit $2,500 and start over at 100nl.

Since then I am running at an astounding 3.5PTBB/100 for $35ish an hour. I am still getting used to playing poker again and I am going to wait until my BB/100 is at 5 or I have a roll of 8K before I make the move back up to 200nl. My win rate was 4.2PTBB/100 at 200nl over 93K hands so I think 5 at 100nl is doable.

Im already up 3 and a half buy ins today so I have entered Full Tilts Fifty fifty. Right now I am about 4k above average in chips with 400 to go. Hopefully I will report later with a good result. I probably just screwed myself by typing that.

It has been some time since I updated this thing. I am still playing poker about 10 to 15 hours a week and doing alright. I moved back up to 200nl last week and I have been running like shit. I have only made $350 and according to Poker EV my equity is at $1400. I have been set over setted three times in the 7600 hands Ive played. I really hope that I start over setting people and make some money, but then I am sure the one outer would hit the river and cost me a new monitor.

On a brighter note I won a 50+5 tourney with 168 people in it for a total cash of $2,268. I decided going into the tourney that I was going to play super lag and it worked out great for me. I steamrolled the entire field and got lucky once when I needed it. My luckbox hand would not have crippled me if I lost, but winning it set me up for the rest of the tourney.

When the final table arrived I was basically tied for first place and with four people left I doubled through the only guy with more chips than me. I had been stealing from the table nonstop when I got aces in the CO. I made a raise and the button smooth called. I knew he would try to steal the pot from me because he was so aggro and sick of me. I made a cb on a 4[c]5[h]6[d] board that he called, checked the turn J[d] and called his 2/3 pot bet. The river was a 6[c] and I checked again. He put me all in which was the size of the pot and I called. He showed 8[s]9[s] for the busted straight draw. I could have bet the turn or river, but I was sure he would bet any holding at me thinking I had nothing. That hand put me at 218,000 chips with second having 61K. Mr aggro was knocked out the next hand and I made quick work of the other two.
