i've played mostly $25 and $50 level games and I'm a consistent winner but more than 50% of my profit currently is bonus. This will change as I will be playing $50's and higher from now on but its too much extra money to overlook.

I often think of bonus as my "bad beat insurance" Basically the website is paying you extra money for all those bad beats you take. So you should break even on bad beats and crush the regular games with good play if all is in sync.

I just learnt ^6 max funded by bonuses. Played 20k $100 hands and lost $500 at the tables whilst I figured out how it differs from full Ring, but made maybe $1200 thru bonuses.
Now moved up to $200 NL with great Stars bonuses (40c/raked hand) and a PTBB of 8.79..

Bonuses and rakeback have to give me about $400/month at least and 3/4 of the time I"m not even working off bonuses or earning rakeback. I play 1/2 and 2/4 no limit, usually 2 tables only.
If you want to improve, be content to be thought foolish and stupid.
