Well today was pretty good/bad.
I didn't do well in the Sunday Warm-Up.
I lost in the 2nd round of the $215 HU matches tournament to Eric "Yellowsub" Williams.
I cashed in the Sunday Mill, but had like top 100 chips with like 1500 people to go or something. I didn't pick up any hands for a bit and didn't see many good steal opporunities so I widdled down a bit. I then lost 2 close hands (A5 vs. Q8 on a 678 flop and Q9o vs. A6o AIPF) and was busted. I got a bottom level cash.
I was chip leader in the Second Chances tournament with like 250 (that's a guess) people left and managed to miss cashing by not much. I can't remember what happend actually, I know I misplayed JTs once, but got those chips back shortly thereafter. Wow I'm really drawing a blank I cannot remember what happend. The point is I ended up busting like 40 from the money.
Overall tournaments:
Results were not too good, but I'm consistently getting much deeper in way more tournaments than I used to. I need to keep learning about 5-30 BB stacks and start catching breaks semi-late and I'll be in business. Definately pleased with progress on my tournament game but still feel my results are lagging behind. Was definately feeling/playing/running pretty decent today and got excited when I started getting a little deep in both tournaments in anticipation of a big cash. Alas, I will have to wait a bit longer.
I sent Hard2tel the entire hand history from the Sunday Mill which he is allegedly going to review for me, so that should help. Unless he is super awesome about it though, he prolly won't help much. I think I played almost all of the hands right, I think my main problem is I miss a lot of spots for steals/resteals pre flop. He would have to ACTUALLY read EVERY HH in order to help with that. I should watch some more ActionJeff cardrunners videos.
I dropped 6 or 7 hundread playing HU on FTP (that site is fucking rigged yo) early on in the day. I fired up like 6 $400 NL tables during the donkaments and ran/played good for a 6 hour session and won a little over $5000. That makes me feel a little better about not having a sweet cash in either tournament.
Unfortunately Hard2tel had to go and get 2nd place in the $100r for $20k and completely upstage me. I guess I'll have to win the $100k guarenteed tommorow night or something.
I guess I can put off getting a job for a little while longer now.
Boy, you got me confused with a man who repeats himself.
