Yes I know it's jumping the gun but it is 11pm on Sunday here and I am done for the week.
I'd just like to say how much the discipline of knowing that I will have to post my results here each Sunday night has already improved my focus - thanx guys!
Monday 6th to Sunday 12th December.
Excession’s stats:
Week started very badly. I took a $130 hit on Monday on the Party NL $25 tables – some bad beats then a $40 tilt
So on Tuesday I switched to playing Pokerstars Turbo $6 SnG’s whilst I felt trigger happy.
I played 8 and managed 4x1sts, 1x2nd and 1x 3rd - netting a nice profit of $83 for 2.5 hrs work.
With my confidence back I went bonus hunting in NL Ring from Wednesday onwards.
Played at Empire (quick $10 bonus for 50 hands played), UB ($700 deposit for $184 bonus of which I’ve worked off a princely $9 so far) and Paradise (who offered me a $50 reload bonus for $100 deposit – I have worked off $10 so far).
A peculiarity of the Paradise point system (need 100 pts to release each $10 of the bonus) is that any 25c+ raked hand generates 1 point (no more no less) so I dropped down to 10c/25c NL $25 Tables to play. Boy are the players bad down there at Paradise (and yet their stacks are the same as at Party $25’s so you can win almost as much money from them).
OK the figures (taken from PT) (all are 2 tabling)
NL Ring
25c/50c – 916 hands +$90.86 (10BB/100) (pulled it back after my terrible Monday)
10c/25x – 186 hands + $20.66 (22BB/100)
Total 1102 hands +$111.52 (average 12BB/100)
Win rate $10.37/hr
$6 SnG’s (PS)
8 entered
ITM 75%
Net amount won + $83
ROI 160%
So that’s +194.52 and bonuses released of $29
Total addition to bankroll +223.52
Total actual time spent 13.5 hours – making an effective rate of $16.55/hr.
Last week was +$243.24 but only an effective win rate of $12.55/hr - and that's three solid weeks in a row now..
