Hands from today...nothing really interesting, I don't think.
1. I'm not sure if I misplayed this one. No solid read on villian, but seemed on the LAG side and very agro postflop. A better read and I probably would've checked the river too...I think that's what I should've done, but this is one of those hands where I think you can make a case for every way to play it (flop CR, turn CR, flop/turn lead, river check, river push, etc).
JJ in SB, LAG donk limps utg, OTB villian makes it 10, I call donk calls. OTB starts with >460, I have full stack.
Flop KJ5r pot 32, we check to OTB who fires 25, only I call.
Turn 3 completing the rainbow, pot 82, I check call 52.
River 6, I push my last 111, he thinks for a couple secs and folds.
2. AA vs a LAG, I limp UTG, another lag donk calls, villian makes it 8, fold to me who makes it 28, only he calls. Flop 843r. What to do? Do I fire and call his raise/push? Or do I check and evaluate...CR or bet turn if checked? This is a tough spot.
I checked, he fired 31.13 which is just over half pot...I CR to 110, he folds. Obv I'm calling a push here...thoughts?
3. THIS guy was being really annoying in a stupid way. He's normally a friggen nit, but he was raising to 5 left and right, in position, over limpers, out of position, in blinds with limpers...everywhere...very strange.
I have AJo in sb, he raises to 5 over a limper from UTG+1, BB and UTG call...4 way.
Flop T93d, I have Ad. Checks to nit who bets 8, BB who's another nit makes it 26, UTG folds, OR calls, I OBV call. A case could certainly be made for pushing here...especially since it's prob hard for me to get paid off if I just call OOP to everyone with what would obviously be the Ad...pretty transparent. I think in the future I push this everytime...no more calling. I called.
Turn 8d, checks through. Pot 98.
River 6o, I fire 66, get called by OR, he mucks. He prolly had something like JQ or Qd or Kd. Who knows.
4. History: I stacked this guy at LEAST once before when he overplayed a big hand and I just happened to have a better one
He called it a total cooler...whatever, learn how to read hands, sir. He's pretty TAG, but is very exploitable. QQ OTB and it's folded to me, I raise to 8, he makes it 26 in the SB, and I call. He could DEF be on a resteal here, but I kinda think it's AK/KK/AA.
Flop: Q75r, bingo! He fires 34 and I just call.
Turn 8 of Q suit. Pot 124, he check-calls 46. Pot 216.
River 5, hope he doesn't have 55
He check-calls my push (he covered by 20)...and mucks...starts ranting in the chat about how unlucky he is and that it was a set-up hand....so it's either KK+ or 88/77 which I don't know if I believe...88/77 bet the river or raise the turn. He had AA/KK and was too stupid to let it go...nihan sir.
5. SAME DONK, <3 minutes later...lmao.
I have 450 now, he has 220.
JJ in CO, supid shortie donk limps, I make it 8 (hoping to get a caller, have shortie JUST push in, and I can come over the top to isolate)...no dice, button (villian), BB and shorty call.
Flop 855 two tone, pot 33, check to me and I fire my standard 3/4 pot CB of 23, only OTB donk from last hand calls.
Turn, pot 79 GIN Jack of flush suit. I check, he fires 44, I make it 118, he pushes and I can't find the call button fast enough
River 8, pot 460, and donky has the uber special K9s for the flush...nihan sir
More bemoaning follows, obv!
6. Last one. Today I pounded the regulars...nihan me. Each of these hands, other than the first, were against reg's. Villian is that stupid $5 nit (and remember that I've never seen him play like he is today).
88 in BB and dumbass makes it $5 in MP, sb calls, as do I.
Flop, pot 15, Q87r, we check, he bets 7, sb calls, I call.
Turn, pot 36, Ko, we check, he bets 18, sb folds...NOW I know he has a good hand and is serious...so I'm pretty sure he's going to call a CR...I cr to 48, he INSTA pushes (I started full, he covered)...I INSTA call...River J and his KQo is NO GOOT SIR, ship it!
