I started using PAHUD just recently (used GT+) before that and I use display basically in the same manner as it was with GT+ ..

I use "combined 1" and "combined 2".. it shows stats that I choose in "configure" and those are.

combined 1: voluntarily put money in the pot %/ preflop raise %/ total aggression postflop / won at showdown

combined 2: fold to flop bet % / fold to turn bet % / fold to river bet % / toatl hands

I also chose to put the PT autorate icon in the box where players name shows just to quickly see what he is like... If I need additional or more detailed info, I click on the players name and check the stats there..

Only thing that I like more at GT+ was that it shows my current stats as I play also.. I mean, so does PAHUD, but you have to click on yourself..... or maybe I am missing some checkbox ..

what is a cold call actually?

a cold call is when you call a raise without voluntarily putting $ in the pot (so doesn't count if you had a blind)...call pfr is when you call a pfr regardless of whether you limped or were a blind. CC % is more important.

low CC means they either 3 bet or fold mostly pf

high CC means they're stupid CS donks...in that case, you may want to start looking at aggression by street and/or 'fold to CB' by street to see how to attack them. Small fold to CB on flop with high CC, but significantly higher fold to turn CB means that they float a lot and will fold if you fire lots of 2nd bullets.
