this weeks KSU game was bad for me. i ended down 145. i bought in for 145 and got up to around 215 playing well most of the night just grinding along then i misplayed a few hands. and got really gayed on 2 hands that cost me the night.

So one hand that screwed me over was when the donkey at the table called me.... i was in a 4 way pot that was raised to 8 preflop. i was on the button and floped open ended str8 and flush draw. real weak checks to me so i decide to shove to take the pot down now with 6 high. i get called by the donk who shows a gut shot str8 draw.. the others fold and of course nothing comes and his 8 high wins.... OMFG

one mistake of the night was when i floated and pussed out on the turn nd river. IDK what the fuck i was thinking but i could have taken the pot by just betting like i planned on it.

second mistake, i new vilan was bluffing and folded. because i didnt trust my read. i picked up a tell on him. ....... kind of pissed at myself here.

I found a few leaks in my game so the session wasnt a total loss...

i need to be a little more agressive post flop.
trust my reads more

i basicly have the 200nl game at KSU beat. ive been steadily proffiting there everyweek and the money i earn has been paying for my food and partying for the past few months. unfortuantly i cant save hardly any of the money because of that which means my bank roll is still small for live games.

Ive been doing some side work for my moms company a few hours a day and all that money is being saved. i am not getting paid till the end of summer which means i should have 1000 or more saved up. and im deff putting at least 600 on FTP and going to start playing 25nl online. hopefully ill be playing and beating 100nl online by the end of the year.

June 3rd - 50nl live game

I played in a 20 dollar 2 table live tourney and got 3rd to win 50. i was chip lead going into the FT and untill 5 handed. then me and another person were tied and we had control over everyone besides the person in 3rd chips he had around 12-15k we had between 20-22k everyone else around 5-10k.

Short stack pushes with QJ suited, folds to the other chip leader who calls with 99. Q hits and short stack doubles to about 10k. very next hand short stack is BB and i have 99 OTB i raise it and he shoves again. i call and he wins the coinflip twice in a row. now im short and there is 4 people left and 3 get paid.

Very next hand i have like 3k left in the BB for 800. they bet enough to put me all in. i call without looking at my cards. i flip KK over.... lol. i hold and get to about 7 or 8k.

the two big stacks get it all in preflop the next hand with 1010 and KK, lol the dude who kept doubling up has 1010 and nails a 10 on the flop and a 10 on the river.

i sneak into the money lol.

Then i go on to play the side 50nl game and make 110 in about 1 hour and a half.

Hmmmm i was up 300.... AA < 10 2 , 5 limpers i make it 6 everyone calls, including 10 2 guy. Flop comes 10 2 7. w/ 2 spades. he shoves first to act for like 125 more, this player has been doing this alot for the past 30 min and he can do it with bottom pair, top pair, flush draw. so i instantly go all in over the top, someone else thinks about it but then everyone folds, i was hoping to see a flush draw but nope he had 2 pair, board doesn't pair to counterfeit GG me.

I think that if i ever get over up 300+ again im going to cash out. i just think at this game specifically you have a better chance getting beat by a suckout then most games because they will call you down most of the time and it may not be worth it once i have made over 300.

Well anyways June is going well so far i hope i can keep this pace up. I am going to Virgina from Friday to Monday to visit my grandparents, cousins, uncles, aunts, everyone basically from my family is going to be there and i haven't seen most of them in 4-5 years. GL to everyone while im gone, ill see if i can stop by the boards sometime.
