On the hand I think you must fold to the turn min checkraise. Checkraise on the turn means strength, and the board is paired making your hand pretty weak even if you get there.

On the 66 hand, I don't like a bet on the river there....and I don't think I like a call of his minraise on the river either. Either check/call if the bet is small enough or bet/fold here. Your hand is way behind bigger PP's and a 9. I just want to get to a cheap showdown and not put any more money in the pot here.

Then in the 2nd MTT, I had to deal with a jackass who called a PFR and then a 3-bet all-in with pocket 4's. People can't lay down pocket pairs and I'm paying for it. What else am I going to do? Fold everything but Aces?

I had also been previously called post flop all-in by 66 on a 48Q board. Seriously, how do you win MTT's where nobody folds and you don't hit? You don't I guess.

At least there was a small market correction at the cash tables today.
After previously having my 1/2 pot bluff called by a very tight player with AA, I later stacked the same player when he didn't believe I had the flush to beat his 2 pair.
Then I c/r'ed and priced myself to call an all-in with [Td] on a [7s][3d] flop. I had 12 outs to the nuts, my opponents push gave me about 2.25 to 1 on the call. He had QQ and I hit the on the turn.

Broke about even combined cash and MTT's on the day.

This is pretty funny, in a twisted sort of way. The Full Tilt software problem was fixed late tonight and unfortunately I had a few minutes to play.

So today I ask the question in the NL forum of whether I should ever even worry about straight flushes since they are so infrequent after I lost to one 2 days ago with the best non-straight flush. I guess this is how infrequent they really are.

A tight player UTG raises and I call in late position w/ [8h].
Flop [7h][Kh] and UTG bets. I raise, he takes a few seconds and calls. I figure I get 3-bet with AK, so I'm only worried about KK, but not really because it's quads.
Turn . UTG checks. I bet pot, he calls.
River UTG is ALL-IN. AHA SCREW YOU - STRAIGHT FLUSH I CALL.
He has the GOD DAMN ROYAL FLUSH [Qh]
Still too in shock to even be that pissed about it.

Lost another big one after flopping a set too today. 88 on Q85 flop. Bet and get called by a player I was sure had a Q. Turn Q. I pot it again and he just calls, probably has a not so great kicker. River 5. AWESOME!

I swear, ever since Oatmeal posted that thread, I've been gettin beat up when I flop a set. It's really strange because I'm winning the majority of times I'm getting in behind with draws (double digit outters), but losing when I get it in ahead.

And the number of maniacs that are just running over tables just continues to rise.

Seriously...WTF???

Pretty happy with this week overall. I put in the most hours since mid February this week. I had a goal of at least 1500 hands + 10 MTT's and reached both. I actually haven't played an MTT since Thursday and have gone 7 in a row without cashing. However, I did go through 1727 NL 50 hands at +24.85 BB/100 and this is despite losing to a straight flush, a royal flush, and flopping a couple of sets and losing some big ones, otherwise it could have been a monster week. But I'll take +24.85 BB/100 all the time.

My thoughts on the Sopranos: Eh......I'm not real sure yet. I guess I'm glad they didn't do the obvious and have Paulie take out Tony just because it was the obvious. I did think my cable went out at the end and flipped out a little. Did he get whacked? Is that why it went blank? I'll probably have something on the blog either later tonight, early tomorrow.

This week's project:
Bachelor party in AC on June 23rd. Room booked at the Trop at a ridiculous $400+. I had been looking at bus scheds anyway to get down there because at the limits I'd be playing, spending $40+ on gas to get back and forth would be just retarded.

There are 2 buses not too far from my house. One, right around the corner almost, only does day trips where I'd have to leave and come back at a certain time. Fuckin ridiculous as you'd only get 6 hours during mid-day or 6 hours in the evening down there and spend 4 hours on the bus too.

Another bus leaves not too far from here. Costs $28 and you get $22 back from the casino in cash. I can come and leave whenever a bus is leaving which is most hours. So the plan was to try to get to the Trop a couple of times then next few weeks and qualify for the poker room rate. Problem is that Trop is slightly isolated from other casinos and there are no overnight buses leaving from there. I probably gotta haul ass to Caesar's at 2am. That's a bit of a walk. Not too sure what it's like walking the boardwalk at that time in the morning on a weekday either. I'd only care if I had a decent amount of money on me. Only other option after mid-night at Trop is the 11:30 AM bus. Not doing that.

WORST EP EVAH!!!!!!!! Dood, that was just like TOTALLY fucking lame... They spent more time on a goddamn cat than on any real storyline...
