I am really going to keep a journal this time. So I have decided that I need to relearn how to play the game and am leaving 8 tabling to focus on 1 maybe 2 tables until my reads get back to good. A 3 month breakeven stretch is not good play, maybe a bit unlucky. After watching HSP i felt inspired to play good poker. I am just going to play whatever game has a juicy table and see how it goes.

I fired up one table and actually paid attention for once. I was negrenuaing out hands for the whole session. On my table there was a lot of money, 3 people had over 150 bucks and on guy had it up at 300. After getting comfortable I popped open one more and played for a bit longer. My reading skills fell horribly with two open tables.

I started the day with 107 bucks and after a solid 1 hour session I have it up to 186.

$50 NL 6-max
1 hour/ $79 dollars

Tommorow I will recount my story of the federales for everyone, and hopefully play some poker. :D

Okay decided to throw the $295 I had in epassporte into PS since I want the bonus on FT, I am gonna moneygram it to Full Tilt. Man it was just an absolute pleasure playing with fish again. Nobody knows what the hell they are doing. I am playing 6 $25 NL 6-max tables at a time. Here is a pic of the days activities.

I have gotten really lucky with a couple of hands. I raised 88 pre, got called by two players, bet out on a QQ5 flop, turned an 8 and got both players all in. One had AA, the other had QK.

It beats the hell out of 3 months of slowly losing my mind at Micro.

Bankroll
Microgaming - 1145
PokerStars - 310 + (187.05) = 498
Total = 1643

Oat:

I was rusting my wedges in coke, it takes the finish off of the club and cleans the grooves. I tried to put my putter in ut as well, and when my brother went to duke he came out and said that. It was pretty classic. Oh and the putter didn't rust.

All in All today was a pretty good day, I won my second match in the championship flight of my mens club today. The guy I played started off pretty bad, so I got up quick and then the middle 6 holes ate me alive. We went into 17 all square and I lipped out a birdie putt when he was in for par. On the 18th I made a downhill 25 foot birdie to take down the W. All in about 99 degree heat :twisted: .

These are the stats from yesterday and today. I decided to take a little stab at NL50 and see how it acted. I just ran card dead. So I am going to wait to try again until I make 1000 bucks at NL25.

Bankroll
Microgaming - 1145
Pokerstars - 498 + 84 = 582? (cashier says it is at 623)
Total = 1768

Total made at NL25 = 360.10 15.3/100

Today was ridiculously boring, played a bunch of hands and just bleh. Def. not the fun side of variance. I got up three buyins at one point only to come crashing back down to earth with some pretty poor play. It was my bros birthday today and I gave him a new video card(dual monitor support) and my old 19 inch widescreen. I picked up a new 22 inch samsung and it is awesome. If I can ever find my camera i will post a pic of my setup, it may rival Xaston's in sheer gangster factor.

kljfakj;kf Ju;osdjfj;atu Just as I am writing this I looose more monies. Here is the final tally for the day. ](*,)

Bankroll
Microgaming - 1145
Pokerstars 623 - 18.20 = 604 (578) Pretty sure PT doesn't always get everything
Total = 1723

Total made at NL25 = $319 7.88/1000

So my previous post is not much important after my bro got cooler fested and monkey tilted his way to this day - which is his BDAY. The poker gods can be so cruel. He is the man though as I would have broken something in my room. Worst poker day of his career and he has played for quite a while. I knew there were issues when I walked in and he was 12 tabling 50NL. Tommorrow is Robusto though.

And so you don't think he is just a donk here is his first 100K hands

The day I dropped down to playing only two tables at a time was the day my winrate went through the roof. Its easy to beat donks playing abc multitable poker, but so much more rewarding to exploit all the drone-like multi-tablers yourself.

Good luck working on your reads/postflop play!

prop betting my way to victory

Postby TableTiger1 » Sat Jul 07, 2007 11:28 am

Took a few days off over the fourth and ran a 10K. :shock: I hadn't trained at all and was talked into running up a mountain. Thought we were going to do the race just at elevation, turns out it was also a TRAIL running series. Everyone in it was elite granola types. Lets just say I got smoked by a whole bunch of 40 year old women. The first 3.5 miles were just straight up a single file trail right up the moutain at about 10,000 elevation. I still turned in a time of 55 though, pretty good for not running that far since my last 10K (which was two years ago) Got back to some poker playing yesterday and had a a bleh session for a while and then ROBUSTO!

I decided to play 4 tables and really get in there and play some poker. I am the eternal lag so it was actually fun, def. adds to the variance but oh well. Also I have kinda half moved up to 50NL, I think I just kinda stop caring at 25NL. The money is just not enough. Here is the small sample I have played.

PLO for today, def. have not much of a clue what I am doing. I think that I probably should just stick to holdem but Omaha is actually fun (def. much better when I lose at it than holdem as I don't know what is going on) I think I have gotten the money in pretty good most times. Variance seems pretty wild. Frustrating when you get it in on the turn with the nuts and get outdrawn when 3 players are on the same flush draw.

Pretty sure I am going to only play FR until I figure out what the hell I am doing. At least I got RB and a 600 dollar bonus on FT to work off. Hopefully by the end of Aug I can have around 3K in my account.

Okay an update to my nearly dead journal. I really am enjoying the new ed miller book. Whether or not it helps my game is still up in the air. After losing 6 buyins on cake I moved down completely to 25NL and will not make a move back until I relearn the game correctly, or decide to get a bigger stake back online. I think I have been making some fundamental mistakes and I will keep working on it. GL to me. School is going well though so that is a plus. I am really enjoying my civil war class.

Playing on Prima during the day which is helping a lot with fixing some of my leaks since I can use PT. I feel much better with Pokerace Hud up than I thought I did. I am trying to take this style of play to the cake tables. Today I played about 900 hands and lost 10 bucks after some wild swings. My SD seems to be really high right now. Not sure what is causing this? Would really like to get to 1000 bucks in both accounts this month. It is going to take a bunch of grinding. :)

Prima: 215
Cake: 340
Total: 555
