I have K9s in bb w/5k starting chips, this situation is about 1/2 way through the rebuy period (blinds about 50/100), the button (villain) has about 7k, and from what i've seen is pretty LAG

button raises to 300
i re-raise to 800
button calls

flop comes QQJ
i check
button leads with 500
i raise to 1500 (my first mistake?)
button calls

turn is a blank
i check
button checks

river another blank for me
i push
button thinks...thinks...thinks...calls

button shows down KJ for pair of Js

Now that i think about it, even though i feel like i represented, this kind of player can't get away from this kind of hand...hopefully learn from this.

hmmm, i see what you're saying, i don't really know what i was trying to do in the hand, i was trying to rep the Q, what about a CRAI on on the turn there? would that be a bad play?

While H2T is probably correct, if you ARE going to raise, you need to do it much more than 800. You are making it way to cheap for him to call you. He isnt folding much he would raise with for that amount. It needs to be at least 1200.
