Day 3....Tim and I head over to Caesars. I keep hearing how Im a moron to play MGM so we change it up (only to find out that Kenny raped the MGM gme last night for $1100 after being down $1000). I dont know why Iisten to these degenerates.
Anyway, we're at Ceasars in a moderatley good game. Its kind of nitty until Mr "Get it all in with any draw" sits down. He was splashing around in alot of pots. Reraising prelop alot (and tiny reraises) and he got all in with a draw at least 4 times. I think he hit 1. Im raising his blind almost every round trying to play pots with him and its working. Im also play this 1/3 game just about like a 2/5 game trying to loosen it up.
Some hands.....
#1) I just sat down...I raise to $15 with 99. Button reraises me to $40. I call.
Pot $80. Flop
[Td][9h]. I check, he bets $75. I shove. He throws his cards across the table. I saw a K, but didnt see the other cards.
#2) A few mins later...Ive raised to $15 twice and had the king of all nut peddlers reraise me to $115. This guy was absolutley the biggest nut peddler ever. He didnt want to see a flop with KK. He was getting upset by all my raising. A really strange guy.
So as is standard, I raise to $25 in this 1/3 game after a limper with my
[8s]. Nut peddler calls. Folds back to the limper who says "I have the perfect hand to snap you off" but folds anyway. He obviously thinks I have AA / KK.
Pot $60. Flop
[4s][3s]. The limper pounds the table and literally walks 2 tables away in disgust. I bet $30. Nut Peddler raises to $90. I say "this is bull shit, everytime I bet, you raise me, Im all in!" I shove my $420 in. He sits there in his matching top and bottom camel skin jogging suit thingy and is thinking and thinking. I start acting pissed and tell him to just fold and get it over with. He says "you have de nut flush?" with his strange accent. I say "I might" ans stare at him. I call the clock on him. He finally folds. The limper says "Damn it, I would busted you with my
[6s]". I show my hand. Limper is in shock and says " You cant have that. You raised $25" Nut Peddler says "You went all in with out the nuts?" and a 2 hour discussion ensues mixed in with other talk. He claims he folded a small flush. I call him out and tell him hes full of shit. No way he folded a flush. As T-Rod would say , I go into full interrogation mode over the next hour or more, needling the guy. I tell him theres no way he had a small flush. The
,

,[8s],
and
were accounted for. After alot of dicussion he finally says "that was the best bet you ever made in your poker life" and admits that he folded the K high flush. he goes on and on about how I outplayed him. I know you wont believe he fodled the K high flush but after watching this guy for 4 hours, I really do.
#3) A little later. Same limper raises to $15. I call with 88. Good young player calls behind me.
Pot $50. Flop
[9c][9h]. Raiser bets $25. Ive picked up a tetting tell on him and call to float him. I was afraid to do it with the guy behind me but did it anyway. Other guy folds.
Pot $100. Turn
. He bets $20. BINGO! Thats what I was looking for. He likes to keep betting his underpairs, but always underbets the turn when thats what he has. I raise but want to lose the least possible if im wrong so I raise to $60. He folds his TT face up and says "Meh, you out flopped me" I show and say "Nope, I outplayed you". The nut peddler guy says "You raised? You didnt have a 9, you didnt have a Q, and not even an ace!" I say "this is NL, sir! I can do whatever I want". He says "You are good, you are very good". Coming from him, thats obviously not much of a compliment.
#4) Same guy from #4 limps. I raise to $25 with
[8d]. Folded back to him and he shows me his
[7d] and folds. I say "good fold, you werent going to hit your flush" and I show him. He says "Damn, you love J8s dont you?".
#5) UTG limps, then same guy limps again. This time I limp
[8c].
Pot $15. Flop
[8s][2c]. Checked to me and I bet $10. young limper guy calls.
Pot $35. Turn
. He checks, I bet $20. He check raises to $60. UGH. I think he might have T9, but call.
Pot $135 River
. He checks, I give him a weird look and then bet $100. He calls with Q2.
#6) Same guy raises $15. I call with
[Kd]. Good young player reraises to $40. Folded to me. The guy has $another $250 behind. I reraise to $140. He calls and we get all in on a 994 flop. He has AA of course.
#7) I raise to $10 with
[2c]. Good young guy calls. Mr "get it all in with a draw" that I mentioned earlier reraises to $20. He does this all the time. I call as does the other guy.
Pot $65. Flop
[2s][7d]. Dufus bets $15. I call hoping that the other guy will make a move but he folds.
Pot $95. Turn
He checks. I bet $50 and he calls.
Pot $195. River
. He tries to lead $100 but string bets and the bet is only $50. I raise to $200 and he calls with AQ.
#8) MVP is now here and is on my left. D-Bag keeps calling my raises and Im raising fairly liberally. I raise to $10 with
[Jd]. MVP calls. Mr "get it all in with a draw" reraises to $25. MVP and I are hungry but we already decided we're not leaving untl this guy does as hes taking MVPs money and donking it back int circulation. Me and MVP both call.
Pot $80. Flop
[Qs][2d]. He checks, I check, MVP checks.
Pot $80. Turn
. He checks, I bet $25. MVP folds and then the guy min check raises me. MVP looks at me and says " the dreaded min check raise" and Im sure he doesnt think I have a Q. I flat call since Im in position and this guys a donk.
Pot $180. River is some brick and he leads $100. I say " you dont really have a Q do you?....No way you play a Q that way" and I raise to $400. He shows me his AJ and folds.
#9) I open to $12 with T9 on the button. MVP calls from the SB. The BB is a pretty decent girl. She min reraises to $25. We both call.
Pot $75. Flop
[Tc][8s]. She bets $30. Im pretty sure she has AA / KK. I raise to $90 hoping she will lay it down. If shes good , she has be to worried. Apparently MVP was going to check raise her but now folds. She thinks a long time and calls.
Pot $255. Turn is a brick. Im pretty sure now, shes not folding so when she checks I take the free card.
She fires $100 on the river and I missed and folded. She showed AA. MVP had KT.
I got rivered about 7 times in small pots and lost the KK vs AA so I only ended up +$200. after 9 hours. Meh!
Total...29 hours..+$675....Nothing to write home about, but Im having a blast. MVP is actually a really nice guy. Much more normal than I wouldve thought.Funny thing is that Ive never met him but when he walked into the crowded room at Ceasars, i knew it was him. His "Boobies make me smile" T-Shirt gave it away. Kenny is cool too, although it took hiim 2 hours to drive from his apt to the Venetian which is ony a couple miles away.
