The last couple of days have been awful, I dont know what to really say. I cant win at poker, I am starting to wonder if this game has passed me by. I haven't put in anywhere as many hours/ hands as everyone else over the last year since I have been spending a lot of time at school. I had one big hit and oither than that I'm down for the year. Online poker has been like getting kicked in the balls, I either get cold decked or sucked out.

My last 5 biggest pots

33 I call a raise, AJ5 on the flop. Turn is a 3 after it checks around. Get all in on the turn and one player has 24. Full stack

I get all in on the turn with QJ on a KQJ6 board. Rvier is an 8 and run into K8 60% of a astakc

I get it all in on the flop with AQ on a AQ8 flop and run into 88

I am now out of money on bodog I was up to $450 at one point and then managed to lose 9 buy ins in 3 days. I sont think I am good enough to beat internet poker, I'm not sure I am good enough to beat live poker. I keep saying I'm running bad and that is some of it but I can only complain about running bad for so long when it comes to a point where variance should even out and if I am not winning its because I am not a winning player.

To be fair it was really only 8 buy ins, I took last $75 and tilted it away ar $300 6 max.

Good news is I booked a winning session for the first time in a while but really it was barely a winning session and was not all that great.

I was told by someone I met at oceans 11 that out off the 8 was this new card room that had really good action. I drive the 45 min and the place is tiny, the poker rooms doesn't open til 6pm and they only spread limit games. So off to Viejas which was on my way home. I hadnt played there in 6 months because everytime I did the action sucked. This was true for most of the night until the end.

First the I am a moron hand. I am in seat 1 which I hate because I cant see seat 9, this time it bit me in the ass. I start the hand with $400 good player covers, seat 9 is a moron and is stuck $600 or so and has been tilting. After 6 people complete I decide to pull my best CJ and just complete from the SB with . Flop is A . SB bets $5 I raise to $15, Good player reraises to $30. SB calls, I call too. Turn is Q. Moron bets $30 and I cant see his stack and I thought he was all in. At this point I'm actually a little worried that I dont have the best hand, good player could easily have had 99. I call so does good player. River . I lead $60, everyone looks at me like I am a moron ( they are right). SB has $100 left but I cant see it because of my seat. He decides to check I bet $60 and they both fold. Had I know SB had more money, I raise the turn and get his $150. So that was a nice moronic way to leave $100 on the table not like I needed money

I am the BB with K6o. Flop us KK9. I lead $15, SB check calls. Turn is a Q. He leads $25, I just call. River A. He pushs for $65, I call figuring unless he has a boat its chop chop. He has Q9o, well done blufftard.

So then the hand that seems to define poker for me lately. I am the button with . I call a $12 raise from blufftard from previous hand. Moron in 9 who had limped the CO makes it $30. PFR calls, so do I Flop is 987r. He leads $30 player in the middle folds , I raise to $100, he pushs, I call and he turns over 77. Seriously this needs to stop, this dude repops sevens and gets to flop bottom set vs top 2. When does this get to happen for me?

Overall I was card dead, in the 7 hrs I played I didnt see a pair bigger than 9's or flop a set. +$35 in 7 hrs.

Prolly never is the answer to your question. I didnt believe in luck but now i am starting to believe there are some very lucky bastards among us.... Check some journals.

The first 8-10month of my career were very lucky/standard/average. Maybe it's a 1,000,000 hands bad run? I would strongly recommend playing 10tables to get by faster.

On a positive note, in a couple years you'll be making $100K+ a year in your career and then you can fugg poker.

No no whining, I just was getting bored and frustrated watching all the idiots piss away money to everyone at the table except me, then I finally flop top 2 and somehow dood has bottom set.

I played my normal home game today, and two words sum up the whole day. Card dead. Didnt see a pair over TT and again didnt flop a set.

3 hands of note.

I call a raise from a good lag with AK. Flop is AT3, he leads $35, I call he is good enough that he folds anything I have beat to a raise but it likely to bet the turn again with a hand I have beat. Turn is a 5. He checks, I bet $50, he pushs. I fold, he can only make the CR with either AT, TT. He told me later he had AA for the case A on the flop. Guess its nice that I didnt hit my king too.

I now have $88 left. I straddle. 4 players limp, LAG makes it $25 from the SB. I push, his bet amount screams middle pair or steal with an ace. He decides to call with 99. Fine at least I get to see 5 cards and had so FE. I river a str8 and actually win a coin flip.

Crazy hand, shorty with $55 makes it $12, loose player makes it $25. I look down at . Another player in the middle cold calls. Shorty moves in. reraiser folds. I push, ther other caller has AQ and folds. Turns out nice for me, shorty has QQ and I get to flop a coin for better than 2:1. Flop gives me a flush draw but I miss all 15 outs as usual. !5 outters are harder to hit for me than gutshots for some reason.

We played a $40 SNG which was pretty much my normal tournament torture, dont get any hands. Then get all in on a Q high flop after raising 99. Get called by the 8 high flush draw and get rivered. I dont play bad enough poker to win tournaments. I dont have the suckout skills that other people have.

Either way cold run of cards continues 6 hrs without really making anything other than getting all in preflop with AK which I have heard is what good poker player do. - $170

Another session and more frustration. I am just running really really cold. I feel like more of an observer than a poker player. I spend hours and hours folding, then playing a good hand see a flop miss and fold. Today was one of the best action games I have played in a while especially at my first table. It is really frusterating to watch people play so bad and not be able to make a hand. I finally flopped a set and got paid but I still havent seen AA, KK or QQ in my last 20 something hours and the one single set. Today was the all in guy to my right. He didnt even really play poker, he'd raise to $25, it didnt matter if he opened or if there were limpers. If there was one caller it was $100 on the flop, if there were a few it was all in. At one point I called back to back hands with a small pocket pair. I had $400 he covered, both times there were multiple callers, both times the guy open pushed, both times I missed. That is really just how I have been running, jsut cant hit a flop when I need it.

First hand I played. I get JJ UTG. Hispanic guy who has blown $500 in the first 3 hands I saw, he slammed his hand down after he called $100 on the turn with a flush draw and missed. I knew he was gonna do something stupid. I limp, he pushes for $$76. Old man in the middle thinks for a while and calls, so does the bad asian guy in the middle. I dont really know what to do at this point. I push, old man thinks forever and calls. So does the asian guy. Flop is all little cards, turn is a 9 and river is a Q. Mexican kid has Q9o, old man tables KK, asain guy has TT. Not sure what else I could have done here.

Hand #2 I call a $15 raise with , old man makes it $50. 5 people call now its only $35 more to me and $25o in the pot. Gambol gambol time. Flop is a good one for me 6 [4c ] . I decied to just open push figuring maybe I have some FE even if the old man has an overpair I have great odds. The old man overpushs, loose mexican guy calls too. Mexican guy has old man has KK. turn is an 8 which is actually a great card for me. River is . GG buy in #2

Finally a good hand. I raise to $20 with JJ. Flop is QJ3r BB leads $26, player in the middle calls. Turn is . SB leads $60, player in the middle folds. I push he calls with KQ and is drawing dead. Finally a nice win.
